Did you ever attend the meeting at Conseco Bank? If so, what happened?

Same exact thing happened with me.

I recieved a call from them today for an Interview on Monday.
I use a different email address to send my resumes and keep track of school stuff.
But, they confirmed my main email. Which made me a bit suspicious.
The woman on the phone sounded a bit creepy too.
Nothing about her came off as "professional", for someone who works for an insurance company.

So, I conducted my own research on the company.

I also got a call, but I am waiting for some calls for job interviews but they didn't leave a message. Did they identify their business?

Just received a call from this number and they asked me to come on a job interview.

Received an email from Bankers Conseco - as described by others above. Got a phone call from this number around 5 pm Mar12 2014...I'm assuming its the same people (Bankers Conseco). They did not leave a message. I have posted resumes on Monster & Dice as well - containing my phone & email.

1st time receiving a call from this number.  On the national do not call list.

Jessica Howard too called me at 6:45pm this evening.  she was pressuring me to come in for this informational meeting. I stated I cannot take off time at the last minute as my PTO time preapproved a year in advance. In addition, she stated you are only in the office 2 days per week, so how much travelling will be done on my vehicle the other 3 days?  No not interested.

Also, the person may have been calling from a Buffalo number but the call sounded like it was overseas and I could hardly understand her.

I was cold called and answered so no voice mail.
Call will be monitored for quality yadda yadda - caught me at work.

I bailed out, said not a good time, email me if desired.
Unlikely I will follow up, didn't ring of professionalism.

Seem surprised I couldn't immediately talk.
You cold called my cell phone.  Shrug.

My thought is Monster/Job Agent crawling, though happens to be local too.

What bothered me is that Jessica Howard asked me why I was looking to leave my present job and sounded surprised when I told her I would not answer this over the phone - that is a question one answers during the interview.  Needless to say the conversation ended at that.

They just called and sat on my voicemail not saying anything.

Someone is calling my phone and sending me emails.  Boo!  Like I don't have enough garbage in there to keep track of?  Unsubscribe please!

i actually did submit a resume and try to go to the meeting...the address jessica howard gave me with her creepy voice didn't even exsist.

Hi! I had the same experience and from the above messages, it sounds wiered. However, I have decided to attend the meeting tomorrow and get more information. It's often good to give the benefit of the doubt and be cautious at the same time. It would be good to meet you there.

I got the same phone call on my cell phone today and wanted me to come in for an interview on Saturday morning.  I never submitted a resume so that puzzled me.  I am I googled this and found this out about the phone number that called me.

tell them to GFT, they called any I just hung up! Another on is Combined Insurance, my resume is for an IT position and they are calling my for a sales position. These people are bottom feeders. Do the math here, they make the positions sound like you're going to make BIG bucks, but they can't get anyone to do them. I wish monster would have filters so that these scumbags can't contact you

He left this same exact message on my gmail account. If he really wanted you to work for the company he would have personalized the message. Unfortunately this is how big wig corporations are.

They left a message on my voice mail. Someone calling from outside the US calling herself Jessica Howard from Bankers Conseco Life Insurance Company calling about my resume on Monster.com. About an hour before this phone call I got the following email:
