I just believe if  you owe you should pay instead of making excuses and trying to weasel yourself out of things your are @ fault doing. This is why America is in the shape were in, nobody wants to pay their bills or be responsible  its really sad, Mr. Be Careful you know you owed someone money and refused to pay them by trying to use a technicality to avoid paying your bills its so so sad but i guess thats the new American way (were doomed)

Did you get a pay off note? Did you see a copy of the debt you owed to make sure you still legally owed it? Did you check out this guy to see what company he is from? Did you make sure that "this guy" didnt just find out you owed someone else money and then took that information to scam you, maybe the money never went to the people you owed???  "This guy" doesnt know the state laws  a mediator or collector or whatever he claims to be should know at minimum collection laws which include statute of limitations.....

This guy told me I owed money since 2008 when I mentioned the statute of limitations in California is 4 years he told me it is 7 years and that if I do not pay $375 tomorrow he will have me served at work and then will sue me for 1890 (including attorney fees) LUCKY for me my brother in law is a collections attorney so I called him.  The statute of limitations is 4 years the guy was wrong which makes me question is he is legit or not- very sketch that he didnt know statute of limitations or lied to me about it.  He never answers the phone with a business name.  Also he violated the Fair Practices Act by discussing this with my mother and sister which I could sue him for 2,000 (1K per violation).  The guy Sam on this post is HIGHLY suspicious or he is a poor guy who got scammed and doesnt know it--BE CAREFUL

Did you know "sam", that the law can be a fickle thing? It all depends on a jury of your peers. Of course, that hardly matters in this case. If someone wants to put a bullet between your eyes, case closed. You're not likely to be testifying...either way. In this country we take our selves seriously. We have Pride. We know where we came from. We know what we stand for. You? We don't even have to think about it. Your countrymen don't either. You're completely deniable. You're disposable. Just throw your insignificant a** under a bus & walk away. That's it. You're gone.

The guy Jerron Bostic was very helpful, and helped me resolve my problem, i did owe money and its only right to pay what you owe its being responsible and honorable, And i did it to show that im a good person and not a scum bag

This person called my mother today and said they needed to reach me because I was being investigated for fraud. I'm positive it's a debt collector. No returned call.

If someone has actually shown up at your work, threatening to arrest you, then you need to file a police report ASAP - it is illegal for debt collectors (or lawyers working as debt collectors) to threaten people in this way.  Please also report to the FTC, FBI, Dept of Justice and your state's Attorney General.

I have tried to trace this number they say it comes back to a land line. The man has come up to my job threating to arrest me if I don't get in touch with him by 3pm. He left the number 716-362-1078 and said his name was Brian or Jeron Bostic or Bosstick. Please help me track down this person they are harrashing me on the job

Has called me, my family, kicker my husbands ex!! I do have the credit card they are talking about never did said I have warrants etc it's out of hand
