I received a call from them and they left a message on my work phone.  I never did return the phone call because when I look it up, I find out that it is a scam because of these messages.

They left a message on my work phone trying to get in touch with me.  They did not say who they were but were calling from the number above.

I got  a call today from 716-362-3194 when I asked for there Physical address the lady told me she could not give that to me. But she want me to give her my bank card account number to make payments to pay off a payday loan. I told her that I was getting my acounts in consoldation and I needed the physical address. She put me on hold and did not come back to the phone.

They called my job was rude to the secertary and demanded that I return there call on 5-13-13

They have been calling my family and my job claiming that I have a criminal judgement against me.  I have never broken the law, not even to steal a candy! Liars. We need to find who they are and file an official complaint with the FTC.

they called me last we telling me to make arrangements or else, they will settle for $$$ amount and split it up in 2 payment.  I did not call them back after we spoke since Iwanted to investigate further.  They left another threatening message today telling me I have to call back to 800-459-1223 Ext 19

Live in Texas, and keep getting calls from this number, 716-362-3194, asking for information about someone I know, and he is a process server trying to serve papers on them. Claims his name is Goldstein, when asked how to spell it, he starts asking strange. I aksed him a second time to spell his name and he didn't spell it out the same as he did the first time.

Must be some sort of scam.

I have had numerous calls made to my place of work from this phone number.  They always leave a message on the answering machines on Fridays when our office is closed.  Whom ever it is that leaves the message announces my social security number on the machine. I called them back today and they emailed me a letter stating that I owe 800.00 and if I don't call them tommorrow with the money then they will send my employer some paper work about my employment.  I have the email they sent me. I spoke with a Mrs. Benjamin. The return number they wanted me to call is 888-860-4441.

jasonj. evans and associates also call from #'s 1-866-591-8781 &716-446-1070& 716-204-1083. they're trying to get 6000.00 out of me ,and if i dont pay they will sue. have been advized not to have anymore contact with them and to file a complaint to n.y. state grievance committee and file a complaint to federal trade commision

Yesterday and today he left messages asking that myself or my lawyer call him back regarding a lawsuit against me. I did a search and found this.

The debt collection scams, cons and fraud out of Buffalo, NY never stop. Here is the latest entry into the world of the sleazy debt collectors, using the name Evans Law Offices. The problem is that New York State records do not show this organization and information we received purports to show that Attorney Jason J. Evans may be committing perjury and other illegal acts in his debt collection venture.

I am in receipt of a document titled: SWORN AFFIDAVIT OF DEBT printed on Evans Law Offices stationary and containing a signature of Jason J. Evans, Esq. where it (based on the attorney expert I showed it to) appears to violate federal debt collection laws. These are claims for old Discover accounts and attorney Evans makes statements that are false and misleading in his sworn affidavit. (perjury?)

It is tough to deal with a liar and a con man and the fact that the signature is over a PLLC that New York State records do NOT verify make this operation all the more suspect.

My advice to anyone receiving these bogus notices is to send (attorney?) Evans a debt validation notice, demanding all documentation that validates the alleged claim. Do not be impressed by his bogus affidavits of debt, they are worthless. Make him prove everything. Expect that his hyped-up debt collectors will threaten everything under the sun, as most desperate debt collectors from Buffalo do. The good news is you can locate a NACA attorney from www.naca.net who are REAL experts on debt collection laws.
