Says his name is Ken Johnson and this is final attempt to collect a debt before legal papers are presented and after that he can't  help me.  Has left several messages the past few days - however I've been out of town and  have not responded and now after reading this will not respond!  So Ken Johnson if you see this please mail me the bill and origin of it!!  I will then deal with it!!

This was a discussion about legal rights concerning debts and collections issues.  Please,  let's not drag another subject into it and make it what it is not.  I hope others will agree and not participate in any re-creation of this threads original subject.

Peter,  everyone knows whether or not they created a debt.  The point in written validation is to make the accuser validate and prove that he/she has what it takes to legally collect.  It they don't,  the debt is no longer legally collectable.  Judgements will have to go through the courts.   If you can't validate the original debt in court either,  how in the world can you expect any sane judge to award a judgement.    It is a simple deal,  if you can't legally validate that the alleged Original debt is owed and that you have the legal right to claim and collect in that state,   all of the threats in the world aren't going to make any difference.

Kinda funny Anita claims she gives all these names and number to her attorney.  If you have an attorney why have you not sued for the illegal collection practices?  Could it be cause your broke, have no attorney and scam pay day loans.  If I took guess you sound black.  Poor spelling, thinking people owe you something.  Just saying.

I got called regarding a bill that I owed and they where willing to work with me to do something that I could afford to pay.  I had to change my payments a few times and they worked with me to allow me to do this.  I have finally gotten this bill paid and feel a sign of relief that don't have this hanging over my head anymore.  

At first I was afraid to call them but I am now very glad that I did because I am now on my way to clearing my credit.

WOW!!!!!!!!!  at least 3-4 months have passed since receiving that phone call from ken johnson stating if i didnt pay that day, i'd be getting a summons 2 appear in court and they would be garnishing my wages becuz the papers were going 2 be sent 2 my boss, AND IM STILL WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    this company (as well as many others) buys ur name from other companies that u may have had debt with in the past and then they call u and try 2 make money off of u.  they threaten u with court, wage garnishing, possible jail time (if they claim that u wrote a bad check)  and its all false.  its all just a huge scam.
STILL WAITING 4 MY WAGES 2 BE GARNISHED AND 2 GET MY COURT SUMMONS!!!!!!!!

You're an idiot.  Public defenders are only assigned to people being charged with a crime.  Whoever this company is has broken the law by threatening legal action when none can be taken.

Whats really creepy is intrepimid mentioned they stated that a Bradley Johnson used him as a reference and thats my name so its weird.  I called our local police department here in town and unfortuantely trying to scam money from people isnt a crime...they advised me to tell him (Ken Johnson) to stop calling me...he didnt mention a company name or identify who he even is...case number and the phone number...youd think if it is legit and confidential that theyd give you more than that...
