Got a call from this same number, they left a message, claiming to be from "EGF", and I am a "person of interest", said they got my name from my x-husbands new wife.  Caller I.D. says Robert S. Laman.  No results for that person in google search.  Only results turning up scam for number.  Hope this helps, and they catch these people.

Voicemails were left on my phone and my husbands phone asking for another person by name (not mentioning) The call was from a Brian Murphy, from a company called eastpoint.  I believe they are searching for people and they are calling all people with our last name. His message was as follows,  That it "would be in my best interest" for that person that he named to return the call about a file that was transfered to his department. It was like he was trying to sound like he was from attorney's office. I did call back, but got a voicemail and I told them that they had a wrong phone number and that the person that they named does not own this phone and to not call my phone number again.

My husband got a call from 716-362-0607. I've gotten scam calls before where they use scare/threat tactics. I googled the number and it's never been reported before, but very similar numbers have. Has anyone been called by this? I called it back and it goes directly to a lady named Carol.

This guy called this AM. I didn't have my glasses on so I couldn't see the caller ID was blocked. Caller claimed to be an Officer of the court in a neighboring county who would serve a summons on my son if he did not call this number and settle a debt with them by 5PM today. I called an attorney I know. This is a huge SCAM!!! These people are SCAMMERS! They search public documents for old unsettled debts, judgements, written off loans and the such. They contact the person with threats of arrest and coming to their workplace to serve a summons.of you dont pay by 5PM the same day. They want a Debit card number or a wire transfer. Mailing a check isn't good enough. They want you to act before you think. They are VULTURES preying on those who can afford it least. Even if you pay them, the money doesn't settle your debt. It is goes right into their own pocket. The person you owe money to doesn't get it or even have any way of knowing you have paid these people. You will still owe whoever you owe money to.

Called me and 3 other relatives today..demanded to speak with someone..told them it was urgent to have me call right back. I called tonight and blocked my number and got voicemail..told him that he's harrassing me...that the call is recorded and that I want NO more calls made to anyone......and that its been turned over to my attorney to prosecute him. Havent heard anything since......

Recieved a call today, and the person stated thatI needed ot call him immediately and gave his name as Don Nelson.....

They did the same to me and it is against the law and FTC regulations to threaten that. Call and report to the FTC, I did.

URS has called me several times Each time they call a recording requires me to press the 1 button to connect to an operator. When the operator come on she asks for my phone number (??? they called me) When I give it I am informed that they are looking for a Mr. Park (who had this number 6 years ago).I explain that I am not Mr Park and each time the say they will remove my number from their computer. Another month goes by and sure enough, I find myself dealing with a young black woman again. I explain that I am not Mr Park and that I told them last month and the seven months before that that I am not him. She will say that I am wrong, they just received this account and no one has contacted me from their office before but they will remove my number from their computer. Sometimes this scenario will play out 4 or 5 consecutive days and longer. I have learned to hold my temper because if I say anything angry I will be plagued by hourly calls for a day.

Received one call so far - didn't answer - they then called my son demanding my phone number, but he wouldn't give it to him - the caller said his name is George Lopez from URS!!!

I just speak jibberish to them and they quit calling. I answer the phone with something like "Jonte monta kinta"? Or "Puja Mare". Idiots   lol

Bill collector.  Very threatening..said had 5 hours to return call or they would serve papers on me at home or at school.  Called multiple times after their own deadline and left the same threatening voicemail.  When I called they didn't answer..I finally was able to speak with one..more threats and intimidation..I hung up.

I've gotten two calls from this one looking for "Marie Schrapnal." First one got downright silly - There's no MS here - you must have the wrong number. Oh, you're not MS? No, you have the wrong number. But you're Marie, right? No, you have the wrong number. But you just told me you're Marie. No I didn't, I said you have the wrong number. Oh - well, do you know Marie Schrapnal? (That's when I hung up!)

Second call 3 weeks later looking for Marie Schrapnal, I just laughed, assured the guy I wasn't Marie S., never had been and didn't know her. Goodbye.

Obviously a dirtbag debt collector. Here's what you do--keep a log of any calls and send the info to a lawyer who will sue them for $1,000 for violating the fair debt collections act.  Get yourself some cash and don't put up with harassment!

Someone called and asked for a person whom I have never heard of.  She asked for an ANDY FARNER and asked if this was Nancy Farner's residence.  I haven't been a Farner for 15 years and never heard of an Andy Farner.  I just told her she had the wrong number and she hung up.

They are a** holes I answer they say nothing. I think its a machine calling

I received a call from this # asking for someone (not even a relative) that I have not been in contact with in about 10 years. Would not give me any information just asked me to pass along the message for the person to call them back. Strange.

I received a call from this phone number, it left a message that had about 15 seconds of Billy Joel's "I'm Still Standing".  Very odd.

This number is used by United Recovery Systems in Buffalo, NY, so if you are avoiding bill collector's don't answer!

if you are going to call and I give you instructions as far as when to call me back because I am busy dont blow me off,,,, dont "give" me additional time to figure things out,,, do what I friggin told you and we can work this out.
