I got a text saying that I won a $1000.00 gift card from bestbuy

i got the same text on the may 27 what is it thier geting out of us money or info

Same thing. I am in NC, too. I probably entered and forgot. It's been around 10, 11 ao months when I bought ink cartridges. I will physically go to the company and investigate!

i recieved the same message i too live in nc did not response to this crap i have not been to a best buy

i have gotten so many of these numbers in my phone stating that i have won a 1000 gift card from best buy and i did not enter into no contest or anything else so i want to no whats going on and why is people sending things like this to my phone.

i feel that this is a waist of my time and is childish for people to be pulling these scams. Who ever it is grow up!

If you believe that somewhere in Tennesee there is a pig that can whistle Dixie, then your fair game for this scam.

Same message as above telling me I had won and of course, when I went to view the missed call time was deducted from my phone! Not going to the website they texted to go to as I know it is a scam especially after reading other people's comments. Wish that these scammers could be stopped as I pay for the minutes on my cell phone and hate for them to be wasted on losers like them.

1-321-501-4268 is the number that called me.

I recieved a blank text message from this phone number, I'm in Chicago. Scam.

Have been getting these same bogus scams

text message scam stating winner of 1000.00

I've received 3 of these "text" messages on my SafeLink phone. These messages cost me minutes I can't afford. The call back numbers are not valis and the websites are to SCAM junk.

Receved a call in Lee, NC this AM. I knew it was a scam, so Im finally getting around to reporting it. From # 1(310)463-3573 Tex message the exact same of the others above. Requesting me to go to a web site and enter a code. Looking into this, there are a few web sites used for these scams under the same info. As well as different phone numbers.

Got the same text message this morning. Not going to go to the web  address. I haven't ever entered a contest, let alone one last month....

Same thing...I am in NC and just received the exact same text as the two above...sure it is a scam as I haven't been to Best Buy in years and it said my entry last month won!

I got a text message on my cell phone that said you have won a $1000 best buy card go to http:/bit.ly/Lrb3XF and enter code"1122". I called the number back it said the caller did not have voice mail set up yet.

Just got a text "Your entry last month has WON.  Just enter your Winning Code '1122' to claim your FREE $1000 Best Buy Giftcard".  For sure it is some type of scam!  I haven't entered any contests.
