I got a similar voicemail from 716-253-1440, it was Adam Scott's office calling on behalf of IRS, and said the same b***s*** as above. The voice seems computerized, as if someone is reading a script, or its Steven Hawkings on the other side. I am going to report this number as scammer. I am glad I checked this number online before placing a frantic call to my husband. Thank you guys for posting about this scammer. I just hope no one falls prey to this scammer and pays the ridiculous amounts he mentions. Stay smart people!!

two messages on my machine from this guy that sounded like a dumb foreigner, saying stupid stuff. Claimed he was Adam Scott and IRS agent and that if I did or my attny did not call back he wished me good luck.  Definitely sounds like a scammer to me.  Asscammer.

I had this call as well today from 716-405-0104. They called my phone six times, I called back seeing what on earth was going on, and the guy that answered said he was Officer Gary, badge number such and such with IRS detective services and that had serious charges against me for my tax returns for 2010, 2011, and 2012. I told him I thought he was a fraudster, he told me I needed to have my lawyer call him. I had my tax guy call him who was also a lawyer and he left him a two messages but he did not call back, and stopped calling me . He knew my Birthday and the last four of my social...Bahhh HUMBUG Time to get LIFELOCK

I had this same stupid call 4 times today - when i call back the same number it is a recording to leave a message - which of course i dont.

I received a call from 716-405-0104 and I didn't answer it. Adam Scott left a voicemail stating to call him back or my attorney. If I didn't return the call he wished me good luck as this situation badly unfolds upon me. Never once did he call my name, but the emphasis was on "you". You call, or you will have bad things unfold on you.

Someone called me today out of this number , I answered the phone call but it was recorded that he is an IRS officer and want me to call another number me or my attorney ..I called the number called me no one answered ..I couldn't write the number he left to call them ..I looked at IRS site and the site said they never contact people via phone and it is only by mail ..
