The reason they call from the states, is Value Village is owned by an American Company, even though some of proceeds goes to the Canadian Diabetes ...I am in Ottawa as well.

I received this call and did not answer because i didn't recognize the area code. They left a message, it was the Clothesline program with Canadian Diabetes to confirm a scheduled pickup. I looked into the area code, and it was from NY state in the US. Why is Canadian Diabetes calling my Ottawa, ON, Canada number from the US? Is this a way to get around the "Do Not Call" program we have here?

They phoned me on Sunday at 1:00. Market calls on Sunday now seem to be a permanent thing. Not enough they phone every day of the week, every single day!

I have no idea who this is but again - STOP CALLING! We can deal with what we want without being called and nagged at repeatedly. This whole "DO NOT CALL" list appears to have opened up the phone lines rather than disallowing the calls!

They called at 9:30am, I answered with 1 hello then only heard electronic beep sounds (not fax machine sounds).

I saw the number on my phone and tried to call, but says call can't be completed.
i tried several times.
