This time they are calling themselves Solomon & Mercurio. Voicemail message threatened legal action, said that something on behalf of a client was authorized for forceful recovery and that a 1099c was filed with the IRS. All of this was left on voicemail and said that any voluntary resolution had to be achieved prior to 8/21/09.

This is probably a scam agency that is trying to collect something that was eliminated from my CBR years ago. The number of violations of FDCPA in this one call alone where they didn't even speak to me directly lead me to beleive this is a real fly by night operation.

Received call from McMillan & Andrews attempting to collect a debt taken out in a state I didn't even live in.  When asked to provide actual original debt information they declined and said they were not able to provide that information until the court asked for it.  Not normal protocol according to Dept of Consumer Affairs.

Caller ID showed as 716-434-8359.  Call back # given in message was 888 802 1172, McMillen & Andrews.

Claimed to have a docket # and wanting to set a court date.  The relevant County records do not show this number (which also does not match the format used in their court) nor do they show any case under my name.
