Well I guess Jim B was a shilling or he would have given us his update on being "sued"

As normal you call a shill out and they sometimes fight back but sooner or later we win!

After noticing nothing new from Jim and that other people are coming out with suspicious post about this company I feel the Jim was a shiler and we caught him and he weaseled his way out of it.. No agency/lawyer will state it was fraud if they were legit.. You had us Jim but I am calling you OUT...

They have been calling my place of employment and friends claiming I am involved with fraud.  I owed 6 years ago to the bank HSBC credit card. They could not pursue in court. All leads to this number come up false. All leads to an address are false. When i return a call they refuse to state who they are.I have notified Better Business Bureau. my place of employment is logging their calls now for the BBB.  They can not garnish wages with out going through proper legal proceedings. I have also notified local police dept. who has not heard of this yet, but is now logged

My girlfriend got a similar call. I owe a credit card bill from 7 years ago.. HSBC. bank is on the news for fraud of their own, Trish. And you are right... there are legal processes. The jerk that called had a lot of anger in his voice.  He supports his drug habit with this job...

Thanks for your help everyone (those who where helpful). I got an attorney and he got a temporary stay on the garnishment and we got a court date for April 3rd because I wasn't in the country when they attempted to serve me. The judgement was filed by National Credit Adjusters and Dominion Law Group. Hopefully all will go well.

Kelly, I honestly have no idea what the process is. I'm in the Navy and the Lieutenant Commander took me in and told me that this guy was calling me and he gave them the information for DFAS and that's the last I heard about it.

Jimmy...Jim....Jimbo.....Hombrey...... the man just ask a simple question or two.  Relax!   He is like the rest of us,  just  trying to enrich our knowledge of how this legal system of ours works.  Particularly in the UCJM of the military.    I've got to say though,  Jimbo,   we are all kind of confused as to how this all went down against you and are sincerely asking your help in clarifying the situation so that we can pass the information on to others.   Not many of our good military men can afford to Lose OVER 800.00 dollars each month to some sewer sucking scammer.  I would hope that we  can learn through your experience.  We desperately want to know how a civil dispute can seep through the cracks into the Adjutant Generals office,   via the Commanding officer,  and on a Fax machine for goodness sakes.  I would like to know how  civlians can utilize the office of the Commander and Judge Advocate General,  and the UCMJ that they operate under,   in pursueing a civil collections claim.   I plead ignorance on this one.  I only made it to the rank of Capt.  in my 6 years in the USAF,  but I do see where a  Full Colonel has rung in on this issue also.  Maybe you can give us all a better understanding so that we may share what we have learned.  Can we depend on you to help us Jimmy.......Please?

Thank you for your input  Angry.  Let's keep our fingers crossed and see if Jimbo can help us out..

B***S***!!!  Nothing is faxed over to a commanding officer concerning debts of members of the armed forces.  The commanding officer has no authority for wage garnishment.  A security clearance is not determined by a civil debt.  And no person serving in the military will be paying any sleezy collector or scam artist to the tune of $846.42.  What branch of the military are you serving in???   I would be interested in knowing more about your debt and the process of garnishment taken.  Incidentally,  two more points.   I have served as commanding officer  and the JAG does not get involved in any type of civil disputes.

So DUDE, where did I ask you about your personnel info? On any lawsuit it will say the original creditor, the LAW FIRM who is sueing you and the collection agency if they bought the debt. As we stated you will have received the paper work originally not your JAG office as you would have a chance to go to court and fight it. Your story just does not add up here. They call 3 times and then a week later send a wage garnishment to your JAG or were your served.. see you say 2 things here. If you were served then you had a chance to dispute it before it went to court.

As I stated the name you gave us who called you does not seem to be a legit company. Internet search iof the name would have located the agency.

Jim B.. try again... a quick search for a collection agency of "National Credit Associates" finds nothing but Credit repair companies and commerical credit reporting company. You state they "say" why do you not have the summons and read it from that.. maybe because it is as fake as your story?

Yeah, they just went through JAG and got the order from there. They say that the company who sued me is called National Credit Associates or something like that. I got an attorney now and I'm trying to fight it.

Who was the company that you owed? Who is garnishing your wages? What about a court appearence? They can not garnish your wages if you did not get a summons to appear in court.

As Badge 714 writes .. we find it very strange that you were not aware that you were taken to court. This # has no tother info on it. Who does Jesse work for?

I noticed that no one has said if they really owe the debt. Would suggest no one take these postings serious. Could be SHILL postings. If you really do owe a debt you can't be surprised they're taking you to court. If you don't owe anything, well, it's all BS isn't it? We see a lot of scare-tactic SHILL postings on 800notes you know.

This guy Jessie contacted and faxed over paperwork to my commanding officer for a wage garnishment. I got in a lot of trouble and I was denied my security clearance for my rank. Now I have $423.21 taken out of my check twice a month! I don't know who he works for, but this ruined my career for at least the next four years. I wish I could find him in person.
