I got a call yesterday.3/7/2014. The same thing happened a man named Leo.He said that I was approved for a grant of 5,000 to 20,000. All I.had to pay was $1.92. I need the money so bad I gave him a card number that had a $0 balance. He ran it and said I should put the money on the card and when I do he'll call back and run it. He also said a grant officer was gonna call me and I was to give him the confirmation number to receive a check. They almost got me. When he calls tomorrow I'll let him know that I know it's a scam.

I got this same type of call. it was for the 3.87  they took the money out of my account then when I called and cancelled their membership they put it back in... so strange.  the 3.87 is for a membership to a website where you can apply for grants. it was a heavy indian accent man.

I have been getting 800 calls on my phone every day ALL day long for the past 2 weeks... Never answered because I thought they were bill collectors. Well I got the call today thinking it was strange for a bill collector to call on a Saturday evening. Well I answered and yep... jus like the rest of u all a heavy thick accented man named "Gary" called telling me I had been approved for a grant (that I dnt remember applying for)... told me I cud get anywhere from $5000.00- $11000.00 (pick how much I need). I ALMOST gave my info being that I need the money so so bad. I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving my card info and he advised since I felt skeptical of giving that info I go get a prepaid card and he will call me bak in 2 hours. I am so glad I listened to my first mind (to look up US Finanical Associates) before taking anutha step... because in 2 hours I was gna give up my debit card info... glad to have read everyones posts!!!!!

i recieved a call also and being the dummy i am, i thought it was real. i gave my debit card number and everything. then my girlfriend told me i should cancel my card. when i got home i looked up the company name and seen this. so im canceling right now

I was called four times today about being qualifed for free money from the government. I was told it would be $3.87 . Some one speaking with an accent I could hardly understand what he was saying.  I am glad that I got the web site address and read what other people are saying.  I know now it is a scam.   Here is the number  that was on my cellphone   801-610-6271.          BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is  scam be aware..... Indian  sounding  man telling  you to go to a  government website  usfinancialassociates.com.... When  the website should end in ".gov" ....yes there is free money out there but you don't have to pay to get it.....there's so many scams going on yes you may get a fraudulent check that looks real...and u can go to the bank.and they may even cash it....however when that check bounces because of a dumby account ...your going to be with the messed up credit or possible jail time....the man calls from an unaavailable number...he's probably in indonesia somewhere ....making millions off of us Americans because sad to say .....some people fall for this and because the fee that u have to pay up front is small it lures them in plus they may be broke in need

And the number that called me was 702-472-8537. DON'T answer and if so tell them NO to whatever they selling. I was trying to pay off a medical debt. They said I qualified for a grant. Wrong they lied! Please be aware!

I got this number to and yes strong accent. Some guy name Hattie Smith said he would send info to pay off medical debt. He charged $3.87 which I never got. Later I noticed they charged $9.95 every month. My bank reimbursed me. It showed up on my statement as Paymall.com. I end up cancelling my debit card and getting a new one. So don't buy this scam! Now you call and go to a voicemail. I was furious! It won't happen again!

Called me 5 times in 15 minutes so i answered on the last call and when i spoke the phone repeated what i said

(716) 512-7205  I received 7 calls in 1 day from this number.  It is some Indian guy saying that I was looking for grant money and they could help.  Never asked for, never requested grant money.  DO NOT ANSWER ANY CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.

They've been calling me about 5 times a day for the 3 days. I've answered once but no one replied. I ha ve no answered since. I blocked them for good!

5 calls today & I didn't answer any....WHY ALL OF A SUDDEN ARE THESE CALLS COMING??? NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE & THE PAST 3 DAYS IT WAS A 235#.....DOES THIS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH FACEBOOK BEING "HACKED" A FEW DAYS AGO THAT I SAW ON THE NEWS? ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Have received 4 calls within the last two days I haven't answered it yet and they don't leave a message. I did go online looking for grants last week, so after reading everyone's post I assume that's who it is.

they have been calling me for the last week...they call at least a dozen times. even though i tell them to stop they are still calling...this all started after i went on line looking for college grants for my son...

i am receiving calls from this number and i want them to stop, they don't take no for an answer they call at least 10 - 15  times a day and let the phone ring about 10 times, please do something about this, it's very annoying, and i am on the do not call list, so what good is that

Got a call from this number;  thick Indian accent;   knew my name;  knew I had filled out a grant application;   HOW???? I filled out a federal grant application for college money, no one else knows. Is the federal government giving/selling info??????

Got a call from this number claiming they were U.S. Financial Associates.  Granting money from the U.S. government.  I found it very difficult to understand him and there was no one else to talk to.  I told him upfront that if this was going to cost me money upfront, I wasn't interested but I took his name "Dom" and told him when the time was right for his grant, I would call him.  You can be sure, I won't be calling!!!!

The people calling pretend to be connected with Goverment Grants. Also asking for

This number is calling my cell phone every 45 minutes or so offering the grant money scam.  I have threatened to call the police and demanded to be removed from his list indian sounding male) several times.  No results and the calls continue!!!!!!! THIS HAS TO STOP NOW!

So the next time they call you, do what I do.... tell them it costs $50 to talk to you and if they have their credit card number ready so you can charge the $50 to it. Or tell them you will talk to them if they first answer 3 questions for you.... I do that to telemarketers... 1st question do you eat peanut butter...
2nd question do you have protective sex.... and usually after that they hang up and dont call back....Just get stupid with these people or demanding like they are...

I received a call from this number.  Just like the previous posts, heavy Indian accent.  The only difference was, they didn't ask for me instead asked for my mother.  When I tried to call the number back, it would ring a few times and then the call would drop.
