This man has a middle eastern accent but uses names like JoHN SMITH, LEE SMITH...which you can clearly witness is NOT his name! He is harrassing with calls to my cell phone and work also. I repeatedly asked him NOT to call at work and I asked who he is representing. All he says is that he is sending the Police after me??? Crazy...Block this call immediately!!

these clowns called me and have done so in the past claiming to be an officer they are going to arrest me.just abuse them when they call tell them you slept with their wife call them names have fun with it.they are a total scam. call homeland security and give the number to them. tell these clowns you have talked to homeland security and the police and just abuse them on the phone

I received the same phone call from that same number!  He called and told me I took out a payday loan and had to pay 2000.00 and go to court or pay 975.00 and resolve it today!  He has my address, telephone number, knows where I work, and my social security number!  He has been harassing me at work until my boss came out and yelled at me for the personal calls I had been receiving!  He is very rude and will not give out any information about anything except how much money he needs to resolve the fake payday loan.

They know my home address, phone number, and my social security number.  This man is very threatening.  He has claimed to be an officer of the us government.  He was very rude and wouldnt release any additional information when I told hime I was contacting my lawyer and putting a fraud alert on my credit report.

I was told by the police here in Louisville, KY to obtain a copy of my credit report.  Then, if anything weird shows up to call this number and report fraud on your social security number.  800-680-7288.  Good luck, I hope I can get out of it soon.  Police told me as long as my ssn wasn't used to take out a fraudulent loan not to worry and do NOT answer the 716 area code calls.  Hope this helps.  easchroeder_68@msn.com

I have gotten the exact same call.  this mans name -- strangely american -- is Officer James Richardson.  this person has also told me that they know where I live and were outside my house.  I called the police, they told me to get a copy of my credit report and report fraud.  Good luck to you.

Went to the police station and this guy is a SCAMER dont believe a word he says!  Ist if you are being prosued it will come in a letter form and you cant be arrested for no payment of bills.  @nd he is impersonating a police officer which is against the law  and he says he's calling from Fort Meyers FL and he is not his number is out off Ocean NY HE IS A HUGE LIAR AND A SCUM BAG BEWARE!!!!!!!!

We just got the exact same speech as barbara and freaked me out im going to the cops today!

claiming that he is an officer and have some legal paper for her and that she took out a payday loan in december of $375.00 but she need to pay $2000.00 to take care of this situation. I talked to this individual and he claimed that he couldn't faxed me the paperwork it has to be her that request this info. I informed him to cease with the calls to her job and send everything in writing. So I will be waiting on this to come; also he claimed that he was calling from Fort Meyer, Florida, but this number & area code is from Olean, NY. I know that police officer don't do this type of calling, they have division that take care of stuff like this, and I asked him what division does he work out of he would not give me answer to that kept on reading the script that I believe he is using.

Threaten that a lawsuit is pending and that the money needs to be paid by tomorrow, for a pay day loan that was never taken out.
