Called several times in the last few weeks. No messages left.

I have been receiving calls from this number.  The recording gives a name of someone I do not know and says to press 2 if this you are not that person.  When I pressed option 2 I got this Hayes guy.  I told him that he had the wrong # and he said, "Uh huh, I will call you in an hour dear." and hung up on me!!!  I called them back and he yelled profanity at me and hung up.  I called back about 8 or 10 times consecutively after each time he hung up on me (he answered every single time and then hung up on me after yelling something profane).  After several requests to talk with his supervisor, he put me on the phone with some woman that told me they will remove the number from their database.  She also told me that if I call back again, they will call the Sheriff department on me!!!!!!!  I was hardly threatened, but will see if they ever call here again...  Be careful if calling from a different phone number, they also have caller ID!

Be careful, it is an extremely simple matter to spoof caller ID. They might be randomly generating these numbers for outgoing calls, and when you call the number back it is actually someone's home phone number. Caller ID is extremely flimsy. Although if they actually put you through to a supervisor chances are they're just a shady call center.

I got this stupid call today, they keep calling with different
numbers and recordings to call them back about some account.
I don't have an account with them. I don't know them.

I reported them to the attorney general do not call list
since they have no license to operate in my state and its
a suspected scam. Since I don't owe anyone.

i am getting the same call who are these people and who is john walsh can anyone tell me they leave a message but when they get ready to say the name of the person they want they stop and hang up if this is a bill collector i picked the phone up but no answer what a way to do business if this is a scam then how come the phone company wont block this number from being used i seen and read other complaints so something is going on we all cant be wrong. Thanks for your help hope we can stop this.

says he's Shawn Hayes from Joseph Walsh's office.  Says he's calling for the name of the person who previously rented our house. (I've only lived at
this address a few months, so the collection agency must have picked up on
the new phone number linked to the address, not to the name.) Have called me at least 7 times in the last 2 weeks, yesterday it was twice, today it was once... they also go by "this is Mr. Kennedy" and "we have some important information regarding an urget file update...." etc. see web site

Calles my phone day and night and never leaves a voice mail and when I did answer it no one was there!
