This company is ruthless!  They have been calling my cell phone daily for the past several months.  so far they have used 6 different numbers.  They answer either IAG legal outsourcing, legal outsourcing department or just IAG.  I live in central Ohio so all the numbers they are using are Ohio numbers.  I'm to the point where I don't bother to answer but I do call them back several times in a row when I'm bored at work. LOL  Do not give this company the time of day.  Their website doesn't even list any information about the company.

Wow! Feeling lucky now! they only call me a couple times a week! Its my cell and since I dont know the number, I never answer it.

I keep getting harrassed and they are not even using the right number but I have had about 8 called in 5 days

phone calls from a bill collector is illeagel, so the next time they call , tell them to stop or you will press charges against them for harrestment

I must say.  These people ALMOST got me.   I kept getting calls from them every day for weeks.  I never answer the phone if it is a number that isnt local in my area.  So one day I decied to call it back.  I spoke to some guy who said I owed money from a credit card from a bank called HSBC.  Ok, I know who HSBC is but I dont recall ever getting a credit card from them.  He tells me that if I dont pay that his company, AIG, a "a 3rd party litigation company", will file papers in court to sue me for the money unless I agree to make a settlement.  He also says that if I make a settlement and pay him by the last Friday in October he will send me information on how to remove this "collection attempt" from my credit file.  WOW!  Sounds good to me so far. So, I then ask him, politely, to send me verification of the debt via US mail.  All of a sudden the guy's temper goes through the roof!  I told him that I would be happy to pay the monet that I owe so long as I have some documentation to verify that I owe money to HSBC.  He states that he will send the debt verification if I agree to pay him by the last Friday in October.  I said to him that I agree to pay you as long as you send the proof that I ask for.  He sends me an email that day stating that I agree to pay $400 by the last Friday in October.  Well... they call back the next day.  I spoke with the same guy.  He asks me if I got his email?...I stated yes.  He asked me if I secured the payment with a debit card?  I said to him "When I recieve my verification letter then I will pay you."  The guy then goes ballistic on me!!!!  Yelling at me saying that they are going to sue me, take me to court and so on.  I said to him "fine, I dont mind going to court over this."  He then says "You cant afford to pay this debt can you???!!!   You can't even afford to pay $3.00 on a traffic ticket!!!!"  What ever that means...  I told him "Well, when we go to court, we'll see what I pay.  And when we get there be sure to tell the judge what you just said to me."  I then told him that my lawyer was reporting his comany to the Federal Trade Commission. Thats when he hung up!!!  People, DONT LET THESE PEOPLE SCARE YOU!   They a FRAUDS trying to get your money.  THEY WILL WIPE YOU OUT IF YOU GIVE THEM ANY BANKING INFORMATION!!!!  If they call you, be nice and tell them that you want to see some debt verification.  A reputable company will be happy to send it to you.  Then call the debter yourself and verify with then that you actually owe the debt.  If you owe it then PAY THE DEBTER NOT THE COLLECTION AGENCY!!!!!  If you get a call from the International Asset Group, tell them to P****OFF!!

I've been receiving calls on my home and cell phone from this number. I answered once at my home, they asked to speak to someone that may have had the number years ago. I told them that the person they were asking for hadn't had this number in over 6 years and that I knew that their calls were a scam. I hung up and hadn't had any more lately except for one today on my cell.

You would think the government or our phone carriers could do something about these harassing calls.
I am ready to shut down all phone.

It's a scam, people. Don't lose any sleep over it. Just get real aggressive with them and it will stop. I got a call like this months back with the same threats. I got aggressive with the hajis and told them I would see them in court. Never got a call back or anything. They are middle eastern trash giving American names. I just got aggressive with these people, too. I am just hoping some guys posing as cops show up at my house. I have a gun waiting for them.

I got a record message call from(716)556-7549 I have no ideal who or what they are I tried to get collect to a person but the line when dead. All I know is they were calling for my sister-in-law that I have no ideal where she is living. In fact I havn't seen her since my brother-in-law was buried in March of this year and as far as we know she had movied from the house they were share at the time of his death. I tried to call them and tell them not to call my phone due to the fact I am not my-sister-in-law and I don't knnow how to reach her. i have no ideal if she used our address or not but I do know she did not have my permission to use my phone number or anything else. But since I can not reach them I want them to leave me alone.

I am getting calls from a 716 number and blocked number also...a couple of times a day...telling me to refer to a case #...today, the guy says that he has papers he needs me to sign and to keep my ID on me at all times as he will be coming to my house and my place of employment tomorrow....

I don't believe they can do that...they can mail me something...but it is freaking me out now...

I just received the most abusive call from these people.  They are a scam . Would not give me any information and accused me of writing bad checks.  which is false.  Who do I report this to???

Looks like I'm also getting these scam messages, I try not to answer but sometimes I do, there's never anyone on the line.  Gets tiring afterwhile

this number has been calling my phone and my mom's and sister's harassing them about something they won't disclose with them, but they will be getting sued too because i used them as a reference, so they said. i would like the calls to stop please.

I guess I'm the newest member of their hit list.  I don't owe a dime to anyone. But, they made a big mistake, they put the message on my phone. I will be sending it to the Attorney General . They screwed with the wrong guy. Maybe the FBI because it is interstate fraud.

These people just called my daughters' cell  phone (who is a minor)  in a threating manner saying I defaulted on a payment and was going to jail.  My daughter is very shook up!  I looked on the internet and could not find anything about them harassing a minor!  In additon to the FDCPA does anyone know who to contact for harassing a minor.  This happened to me once before but my daughter was not involved and the FBI stepped in.

Received calls from this number 716-558-7549 several times. When prompted to press 1 to speak to a rep, she told me I was lying because they were looking for a man, I said you called me and now you say I am lying when I tell you who I am. Don't call me if you don't want to speak to me and hung up...They are very rude and using illegal tactics to scare people. I still don't know why they called and don't care cause I don't owe anyone...

I have getting repeated calls on my cell phone from this number.  They call over and over again.

Go a call today for previous owner of my cell phone number. She obviously didn't pay any of her bills because I get call nonstop & of course at&t won't do anything or even change my number for 60 days. lame.

Anyway, I pressed 1 to tell them I'm not Nina, the number hung up on me. I called back and have been calling back and it's a busy tone.

I also got a message from them that they have a recording of me agreeing to a payment arrangement and that I've defaulted on that... and they were giving me "one last chance" before referring my case to their legal department.

Considering that I never, ever agree to anything like that over the phone... I know it's crap.

Received a call from 716-558-7549 informing me that they had a recorded message that I agreed to a contract of some sort - which is completely false.  They threaten to follow thru with legal proceedings if payments are not made.

I also get around 10 calls a day but when I answer they hang up--so frustrating!

I have been getting calls from this number a few times per day for a week now.  Nothing was said when I picked up the call.  It is really annoying.  Can someone tell me what this call is about?

I got a call from some guy that said that if I didnt pay what i owed on my payday loan by the 31st of december and if i didnt then he would be sending all my info to the county that I live in and that they would be pressing theft charges. Cant he even do that? He said that he had an "in house" attorney. Is this even legal?

well at least that makes me feel a little better. I have been very worried about this. thiss guy would would not tell me what company he was from either. I think he sais something about legal options or sosmething.
