call all the time and send me stuff and try and make me pay and i never asked for any of it

have been getting calls from this number around the same time for 2 days, i answer and the rude young man asks for the owner of our company by first name, and then while im telling him he's not available he rudely sighs and says WHATEVER and hangs up.....so bizarre?????

Just got a call from "Peter Edwards" @ (305) 767-7535 sounds like a SCAM to me. He said my wife signed a contract on 6-11-09. The contract amount was for $789.99. My Wife would not sign any ad I don't approve first and I never heard of these guys. High pressure to renew a contract that was auto renewing. SCAM SCAM SCAM !!

Got a call from this number did not get to phone so called it back. got a recording the number id not in service or disconected. has to be a scam

a guy just called saying his from yellowpages, and if i wanted to renewal my account for $700. i havent had an add. in a few years. this guy was rude and not friendly when i started asking more info. about it. then he hanged up

receive a call today at 09:07 am from Paul Morrison of yellow business aid .com, advise me my aid was due to cancel it was time for renewal i  told him I never place aid with his company did not known what he was talking about. He said oh! yes back in 2009,he got upset when i told him no! their was no aid , he try too tell me i owed 789.00 for last two years.  I the as what was named of site my company was listed on, He hang -up. His number 716-566-9598 beware they are getting worst.

James Wright, with a W, wants me to sign up for another year of advert.  after some chit chat, he turned me over to, I guess, customer service who informed me of my current "bill" of $798.00.  I said I had not asked for their service and was canceling it.  He said that I still had to pay for the last year.  For  real, the call got dropped at this point due to poor signal in the building I was in.  I haven't heard from them again at this time.  I am glad this site came up when I googled James Wright badge 0498.

After reading the majority of the postings ... the one thing we all have in common is that we have business lines that the calls are being made to.

I also get the exact calls you get.  I've called the number back and got a recording that the number you have dialed is not in service.  Go fugure!  This a New York area code?  I live in CA ...

Caller does not talk but hangs on the line.  This happens on a daily basis

got call asking for me (had a close name, but not mine) at my business. Have been getting calls from someone in Florida also.  Call received in Hawaii.

When the New York Attorney's General office is going to do something about this?...this is outrageous

I keep getting calls from this number and no one at the other end of the line. When I try to call back I get a message that says the number is disconnected or no longer in service. I also received a call last week from someone with "yellow pages" on line...

My company was called from (716) 566-9598.  Caller ID showed "Bank of America".     This guy called me and asked to confirm my address for yellow page book.      

He said the correct address then asked about relisting this year.     I told him as long as there is no cost involved.    

He then told me that I had an outstanding balance for my previous listing.    
I answered that there was never a contract nor any authorization for ANY advertising to be done.  

He told me there was a verbal agreement.     I answered that there was no agreement, because I would have been the one to have made that decision.

He then hung up quickly.

We at our company are getting the same calls but from a different number .They tell me that we authorized this 2 years ago Vicky the supervisor then transfers me to the cancellation department and  Rachael tells me we have to pay for the last 2 years and that they are going to send a renewal form also .We never in these 2 years received either a invoice physically in mail or internet until recently rather strange .We be out of business if we did that . Also as we have our own web site there was no reason for us to subscribe to this ever. When you phone the number on caller ID you get disconnected Scam maybe or a company desperate for customers .Went into their website typed in a catagory and city ,state and got nothing ?

i have gotten this as well stating from Buffalo , NY.

we get this call at my work. they try telling me we owe $700 in yellow page advertising. then they get rude and demanding and insist that we authorized this service. just hang up.

I just got a call from probably the same guy. He said my internet service expired and he wanted $750 to renew it. Told him I NEVER would take out an internet service. My son creates internet sites, why would I do business with him when my son would do it free. He said he had a copy of my wife's voice and that if we did not pay he would turn it over to a collection service. Someone should put this guy in jail

This should be totally iileagal as they are claiming I owe them 700 $ for advertizing my company for the last two years. Sold that company 9 years ago. who do we contact to stop this, caller ID said Bank Of America and I do have an account with them I thought it was a legit call and a
answered it  said they would play a recording when I agreed to this and would call me back, never did call back So what can one do to report this?

We received a very rude call from this number saying that they were from "yellow pages".  When I told him I wasn't interested, he got very aggressive and rude.  I hung up when he said, "How do you know you aren't interested when you don't even know what I'm going to say".  

If this is your company, no one wants to do business with obnoxious telemarketers.  If anyone finds out a business name for this company, please post it, so they can be reported.

I am an officer of a company that has a pretty decent web presence.  I have been getting calls from this number constantly and usually someone hangs up once I answer.  Anyhow, I answered and today, I too, was told that our company owes $789.00 for 2 years of advertising that I nor any members of the board approved.  They gave me a date of 3/1/2009 of approval.  We keep really good records and no one can find a signature or reference number to this alleged invoice.  The officer they said approved this never handles advertising.  I looked on the website they claim we approved an ad on and sure enough we are there--3 times.  Since we manage our online presence, we were shocked to see this ad because we've never seen it before and neither had our web developers.  I am positive that this is a scam.  All I can say is 'good luck getting the cash from us'.

I've received more than 20 calls from this number. Thank god for caller ID - I ignore them. But they are a pain in the butt!

716-566-9598 called and introduced himself as James Wright with badge# 0468 and that he was with "Yellow Business Advertising" and my subscription was about to expire and asked if I wanted to renew.  I said I never bought anything and he assured me I did.  He asked why I never called and cancelled, and I made something up about how I lost the number.  He says "Oh no, that's not good.  Let me put you on with customer service, they'll walk you through cancelling."  I had gotten these calls before so I said "Listen, take me off of whatever list I'm on because I never bought anything and I'm tired of these calls."  He said "OK, fine, I can track you down and we'll go to collections and I'll take you to court."  I said "That's fine, go ahead" and hung up.

Same call.  Luckily, I'm having problems with my phone and occasionally get a loud fax(ish) tone.  Tone hit and call went dead.  Didn't have time for him to tell me I had an outstanding invoice.

Scam...Scam!!  don't even answer this call !!

Shows up as Bank of America. Claimed to be yellow book. A clear fraud.

Same thing others are saying.  Got a call from this number two days in a row- nobody on the other end when I pick up- if you call back, it says the number has been disconnected.
