I keep getting calls from them for someone else . they wont stop.

This number kept calling me to collect a debt for another person. I called several times to request them to stop calling me and only got hung up on rudely. I called back again another time just to have JENNIFER REID say ok whats the number r u sure its not u i said yes and she hung up on me . I simply wanted a confirmation that they removed it and would no longer call me. I called again to do so only to be screamed at and hung up on i called again someone else answered and was also extremely rude. As a buisness owner myself for over 30 years I would never have people in my office who are belligerent and rude to people who call. Unacceptable no matter what the buisness is .after reading these comments it is probably a scam and they need to be reported.

I got a call from them saying in 2007 a loan was takin out in my name through loan point usaand that it was for over 800 and its in collections and if I do not pay back I will be forced to go to court.They said they were lawyers and I told them never in my life have I got a loan online or anywhereelse.they had my name address telephone number and social security number.i was told if I didn't apply for this loan that I needed to report it. so I went to the police department when they googled the number they gave me to call them back,it said fraud. I got all nervous about nothing they guys are jerks.

I meant Debt Collectors cannot state they are a law office, which these people do. They need to check out the law before they threaten other people.

They keep calling my number asking for someone I do not know.  They are nice and say they will remove my phone number from their database.  Then the same person calls back with a different name yelling and screaming threatening that the police are on their way.  Outside of the phone number 877.614.5054 they have used other numbers such as 855.755.7080 and 716.568.7699.  They said the name of their law firm is Peterson & Schwartz Attorneys at Law.  They said their address is 1591 Kenmore Avenue Kenmore, New York 14217.  I looked that address up on Google maps and it is the middle of an intersection.  The same person has used different names such as Brian Reynolds, David Fulton, and Mr. Schwartz.  When I spoke to Mr. Schwartz I asked to speak to David Fulton and he did not know who that was.  He hung up on me and when I called back David Fulton answered the phone.  I say we all keep calling the 716 number and flood their phone lines with questions.  Give them a taste of their own medicine.

I would mail and email them something to the effect of the below statement:

To Whom It May Concern:

I am emailing this letter in regards to a threatening voicemail left on my cell phone and a call to my workplace claiming I owe money for a debt through CashNET USA.  You are claiming legal action if the debt is not paid.

This is NOT a request for ?verification? or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to the above named Title and Section. I respectfully request that your office provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you.

Please provide me with the following:
·         What the money you say I owe is for;
·         Explain and show me how you calculated what you say I owe;
·         Provide me with copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say I owe;
·         Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable;
·         Identify the original creditor;
·         Prove the Statute of Limitations has not expired on this account;
·         Show me that you are licensed to collect in my state; and
·         Provide me with your license numbers and Registered Agent.
If your offices have reported invalidated information to any of the three major Credit Bureau?s (Equifax, Experian or TransUnion), said action might constitute fraud under both Federal and State Laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found on any of my credit reports by your company or the company that you represent I will not hesitate in bringing legal action against you for the following:
·         Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act
·         Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
·         Defamation of Character
If your offices are able to provide the proper documentation as requested, I will require at least 30 days to investigate this information and during such time all collection activity must cease and desist.

Also during this validation period, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, I will consult with my legal counsel. This includes any information to a credit reporting repository that could be inaccurate or invalidated or verifying an account as accurate when in fact there is no provided proof that it is.

If your offices fail to respond to this validation request within 30 days from the date of your receipt, all references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file and a copy of such deletion request shall be sent to me immediately.

I would also like to request, in writing, that no telephone contact be made by your offices to my home or to my place of employment. If your offices attempt telephone communication with me, including but not limited to computer generated calls or correspondence sent to any third parties, it will be considered harassment and I will have no choice but to file suit. The office of Peterson and Schwarts and company has called me repeatedly for the past 2 weeks.  I talked to a man who says I owe $1500 to a payday loan company that I paid back years ago (2008).  They said they were going to take me to court if I didn't pay the reduced amount of $553 that they said I would accept.  He wanted my email address--I did not give it.  I called back later in the day and a lady answered the phone.  I asked for their email address and she would not give it to me.  They leave jumbled messages for me to call them back--the phone number is inaudible.  This company is a scam company--do not give them any information!  How can I get them to stop harrassing me for a bill I paid years ago?

This company calls me and everyone i know. when you call back with the case number they insult you and then hang up. cannot tell if it is a real debt collection agency and my family member is in trouble or these people have nothing better to do. i have requested on several occastions that I be removed from thier call list. the calls will stop for a little while and then return a few months later. it is both annoying and i consider it harassment.

pretty much the same line of bs i get as others have stated on this site,they also started threatining me though,we have ways of getting what we want & u may not like it....also about a pay day loan from a cash net....

This just happened to me, contacted a friend of mine, had all of her information and told her that I put her down as a co-signer!   I tried to call them and find out what was going on, and Larry Peterson would not give me any information and hung up on me several times.

These people are calling all family member and harrssing them with a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD - this Larry Peterson has harassed me by calling and claiming an actual person in my town took out an internet payday loan through Cash Central and put me down as a co-signer!  He repeated my ss#, date of birth, address, and all my personal information.  He claimed that I was responsible for a $1200 debt and that if I paid $562 I would be off the hook for this.  I checked out the address of this person that he said orginated the loan and the address was legit - I went to the local police and filed a report and they also contacted this person in my town to see if she had received calls from Larry Peterson of Peterson and Schwartz in New York.  She confirmed she had been receiving phone calls also for the past year.  She had no criminal history although this Larry Peterson claimed she had a long list of criminal and civil crimes of this nature.
I reported him and his number to the FBI Internet Crimes Division (IC3.gov), the local authorities, called the credit reporting agencies and alerted them to protect my credit, joined LifeLock, ran my credit - which nothing appeared about any payday loans.
Hang up and do not fall for this SCAM - I'm not done with him and will continue to see where I can report him - people need to be aware of this!  This guys needs to be in jail!

If you have ever applied for money or payday loan online then your information goes into a database.  They search this list looking for people to scam.  They call me saying i owe money to Cashnet which has been paid off for years.  Telling me I still owe $400.00.  I contacted Cashnet only to find out the information stated above.  They have their on inhouse collection department and do not solicit other companies.  So the next time they called me I told them hold on let me get Cashnet on threeway, they hung up.  I had the number for their scam department and call them and we decided to call the company back.  I gave the lady my case number and told her I had Cashnet on the phone.  She put me on hold and never came back.  Called back and the phone had a busy signal.  They tell you to seek legal counsel and they wnat to serve you papers at your home or job and someone needs to be there to sign.  No law enforcement office is going to contact you.  they have all sorts of scare tactics now.  Contact the FTC and file a complaint as well as the Do Not Call Registry.

I've been getting cold calls in the form of a d***hit voicemail since 2009. All from the same number, all from the same company, if it is even a legit company which I doubt it is, Peterson & Schwartz. The recording is jumbled, but it claims they have a case against a person named Patty Austin. I have had my same cellphone number since April 2007. And furthermore, I know NOBODY named Patty Austin. Sometimes I reverse dial the number a few times & hang up everytime someone answers. And I know it's a stupid call center because a different person answers each time. Sometimes that does the trick & they don't call back for a few days. But the calls always start back up again. Usually in the same time of day too, between 8 and 11am PST. I am so sick of getting these calls & I just want them to stop.

They call me everyday on my cell.  They only leave messages saying to call back.  Every day.  I've tried to call them back to get them to stop calling me.  they don't answer.  i can block my phone from ringing, of course, but they always leave a message.  anoying.

They called me from the office of Peterson and Schwarts, it sounded like a collection office, I returned the call and they wanted me to leave them my name, phone number and my personal information and they will return the call. In this week I have received like five different time calls from the same number. I am tired of these calls.
