I got a call from this number with an individual stating he was an attorney, but he definitely was not a professional.

He did not speak clearly and used poor grammar.

I got the same call. This guy says "ahh you're a hard guy to get a hold of", but this was his first call to me. I responded and was pointed to a Rebecca Taylor who made the same claim, being from an Attorneys office. I was given the number 888-234-4685 x501 to respond to within 24 hours and settle a claim from Verizon against me. Interestingly enough, I just switched back to Verizon from ATT&T, which Verizon would not have allowed if there was A) Pending Collections from a Defaulted Account, or B) Pending litigation from an outside collections agency.

I have not quite gotten to the bottom of this, but I assure you that I will.

I got a call from Frederick, Goldstein, and Doe stating they were attorneys looking for Christopher M Hernandez. My ex's name is Cristobal. I was threatened with them going to my job to Serve me court summons. They even cited My address and My Ex's address as places they are going to serve papers to. They can come all they want. Bring It ON. I am HAPPILY DIVORCED from my EX. (If this is even Regarding Him.) Why can't people LEAVE ME ALONE????? I Did call and left a message Sat nite.that I have No Idea who this Christopher person is. I also said in my message that they have me mixed up with someone else. That it is Very Unprofessional to be threatening a person at their home and job even before they talk to the person. and if they have any questions to please call me back at my number.. Lets just See if they Call???I am even thinking of doing a Police Report---Maybe I can get some Cash from THEM???

HEY MY HUSBAND AND I JUST REC'D THE CALL ALSO - ASKING US IF WE KNEW A LEE COLVARD AS WE WERE PUT DOWN AS A REF. - BUT WE HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS PERSON - WAS IT THE SAME NAME - THE LADY WAS RUDE ABOUT IT - DO YOU THINK THIS IS SOME SORT OF SCAM

Called and said they were calling from an attorneys office asking if I knew a certain individual,I knew of the person 15 years ago. They said it was in regards to a criminal matter and they would take my name off from the contact list because I no longer know this person.

Received a call at business.

Asked for individual. Said it was in regard to a complaint being filed in court. I told them to stop, and said no one would call if you were filing a complaint in court. It doesn't work that way.

Referred to them as bottom dweller debt collectors.

Got a call today stating that they are calling from an Attorney's Office and I have 24 hours to pay a 6 year old debt and if it is not paid then they will file and have someone to pick me up.
