Claims he is an Officer of the law....

got a call from a spensa law firm somebody named Alex and then someone by the name of john smith claimin they are debt collectors calling my job they my social address and to me they sound foreign may some type of terrorist group trying to extract money for funding

had several calls from this number.. the guy is now using a name of attorney Eric Foster, its a scam!

that i had a loan from them and that they will serve me court papers at work if i don't take care of it ASAP

I received a call today from these people, 1st they left a message that they needed a call back from myself or my attorney. If I did not call them back they wished good luck to my CHILDREN! "oh hell no, no one threatens my kids) So anyway I called back cuz that b***h made me very angry. So when I called back, I repeated that the woman "Shawn" could not talk to me. Both female and male had very strong accents. Anyway he proceeds to tell me there are 3 charges against me due to a cash loan. Money laundering, theft, writing bad checks, etc! i went off n told him that the woman who called me was stupid enough to leave a message on my phone threatening my kids!!! That they would be hearing from MY attorney!!!

just found this article on American Cash Services which is a definite scam.  If you've ever applied for one of the pay day loans online or just filled out an inquiry you could be a victim for this.  Just tell them they are not licensed to do business in the State where the operate and actually it looks like they are the ones under investigation for FRAUD!

I have received several calls from this non-english speaking male.  He is totally unprofessional so IF there really is a company that has hired him they need to fire him immediately.  He never told me what it is I owed them for, what the amount is or anything but he did leave a message for me at work which further infuriates me.  I told him he is not to contact me by phone at all and that he should send me correspondance to my address that he should have on file (I never agreed to any information he tried to have me verify other than my name).  I told him it sounded like he is an identity thief and that I wanted to know who's social security number was he leaving on my voice mail!  I do know that IF anyone is suing you they will do so in writing, a marshall will serve papers to you at your home address and then you have 30 days to respond to ANY lawsuit.

They called saying that I was in big trouble and that I needed a criminal attorney.  I told them to stick it.

These guys have been calling me now off and on for weeks, about someone who used my name as a reference for a cash loan from American Cash Services, and threatening that I would be arrested tomorrow. The only way to get my name off the list is to pay them $110 today by debit card. They wanted me to fax them them an authorization to deduct this amount of money from my debit card - they wanted my email, photo ID and my social security numer! They even gave me a file number!

I got my Mom to call them back, and she was the one who found out it was a scam!

Today I received a message from John Miller. Very convincing please do not fall for this scam. Some of the key points mentioned=

Internet fraud
I own cash a random cash advance
I am stealing
The Cash Advice companies are looking to make an example out of me
I will be taken to jail tomorrow
They had information they stole from some place not sure where...

So if they do verify any information, just remember they took that information from someone else.

Has been calling for months on my cell and at work. I have gone off on him a few times, telling him that he should be ashamed that he does this for a living and that he should get a real job.  I asked him if he enjoyed harassing and lying to people, and he actually said that he did enjoy it.  One rme I called back and a woman answered the phone, called me a bi*** and hung up! How can I make them stop?
