Rodney Law firm reguarding claim # 158593-1122

Theslimeball from 17166510102 called me at home this morning I did not answerI am sick and tired of this harassment.

I filed a complaint with the NY attorney General as you suggested and also sent a letter to the KS Attorney General where I am located and to the FTC regarding the harassment I have been getting from this firm.  They told me they were not a collection agency and therefore not required to provide proof of debt- I needed to prove I did not owe the debt and if I did not pay the $795.00 they were seeking it would go to over $3,000.00.  I know that the Fair Debt and Collection Act does not allow for any interest or penalties unless they were agreed to in the original contract or allowed by KS state law.  I don't even know if they are licensed to collect in KS. This is not a good debt and I have disputed it at least three times - but it just keeps getting sold to another agency. I am really getting tired of being harassed by people who don't have their facts correct.  How many times can they keep selling this debt and addiing it to your credit report under another name. Talk  about a racket. These people are ruining lives without any remorse or conscience

You need to learn to spell-- You don't know that these people you refer to in your comments really owe the debt-- Their is so much identity left out there and it is getting Worse each year.  What is especially bad is the firms that buy bad debts without knowing all the information or if they are good.  I have paid several debts off just to have them sold to another collection agency and show up on my credit report under another name.  So you need to keep your opinion to yourself these scammers consistently violate the Fair Debt and Collection Act by harrassing people and reporting false information to the three collections agencies, ruining lives.  It is much harder to get a bad claim off your report - than it is for someone like you to put it on and keep perpetuating the problems plaguinghonest people.  You should really check your conscience- that is if you have one.

This phone number randomly calls numbers ALL over the US.  When you get their voicemail it doesn't even state your name.  It's gargled on purpose.  It's some sort of scare tactic to collect information.  They are a FRAUD.

Calling inregards to my mother. My mother dosent live with me. They said it was concerning a legal matter and gave me a case number and a phone number to contact them. They also said they have tried calling her and sending mail to her but have had no response. My grandmother also got the same phone call!

I rec'd a phone call from a Law Firm as well on a Sunday around 7pm EST, about a civil complaint against me. The message gave me 2 different docket numbers and a demand that I call them back immediately.Also the name of the Law firm was mispronounced twice. The first time it sounded like Giovinet.The other time it sounded like Gioviwa.

I have had it with this company calling my job and leaving threatening phone calls with no information left in the message. I am also tired of them stating that they are from a law firm, I have dealt with law firms and they don't call and leave threatening phone calls.
