SCAM.  Don't bother to call them back.  You have no legal obligation regarding anything they may be trying to collect/scam from your ex, and they have no legal rights where you are concerned.  If you do pick up and ask for anyone that isn't at this phone number, you nicely say, sorry wrong number and hang up.  Do not enter into any discussion with them.  If it gets too bad, you could also consult with a consumer attorney about any changes YOU could sue THEM.

Got a call from this number but didn't answer. They left a message claiming to be from "Evans Law Firm". They were looking for my ex-husband but to my knowledge, all of his bills were current at the time we separated. I have no idea how they got my cell phone number because I do not give it out to anyone. Anyway, like others here have said, they made sure to emphasize the "LAW FIRM" part in an effort to frighten and intimidate me.

The caller called my mom and told her they had a warrent for dads arrest and unless she called them back with in 2 hrs with my dads social security number, they were going to act on it. The caller gave my mom my dads birth month but the wrong day. He also gave her her address but added some incorrect information. The extention they gave her for this number is 1411571200. That in and of itself sounds more like a phone number.

Did you ever contact them and find out what they were after?  They are calling me two or three times a day and I don't know why and each day it is a new person.  Please feel free to email me at lfroggyiz@hotmail.com if you have any info.  It would be greatly appreciated.  Told me their is a handle against me.

When they called says his/her name then from where they are calling "Evans Law & ....." then mention the case number trying to collect money..but if you miss the call they leave the name,office,case number and a number to call 877-6510753 plus the ext # but they make sure you hear the LAW and ATTORNEY part...
