I got  a call last year from this phone number and yes they speak spanish not Mexican.  Because as you know not only Mexicans speak español.  Ma you should learn another language it could help your brain a little.

Have had them call 3 times over two months - one I answered and there was a massive delay then I just heard something but I hung up the phone - when i returned the call it was some radio station - can anybody find out who/what this is???

They are Dominican.  Might not even live in Buffalo for all we know, just using a U.S. phone number to look more legit.  That is easy to do these days with Vonage and other systems.  I live in the Dominican Republic now and have Vonage so my U.S. based customers can call me on a U.S. number.  And I got a call from this number on my Dominican cell phone!  So they even call their own country.  It is a scam.  They want you to press 1 which will lead you into a telemarketing prompt and they try to get your credit card information.  I hung up as soon as they started asking for that.  Fortunately, I speak Spanish very well now since I live in the D.R. so I understood everything they were saying.  Best you can do is report this to the FCC and have the number cancelled.  Then they will just get another number and do it again.  I doubt they are actually in the U.S. because there are three very similar phone calls going on right now from Dominican Republic origin and they come from this number in Buffalo, a number based out of Baltimore and a number based out of somewhere in CA.  So I think they probably just got Vonage or something and are registering for U.S. phone numbers.  They can't really get into any trouble unless you are dumb enough to actually give them money and prove it was fraud but then the government would still have to catch them in the D.R. which would be hard.  What they are doing (until they steal money) by making the phone calls is not illegal in the D.R.  The best you can do as I said, is get their phone numbers cancelled.

I got a call from this number to my work number. Same... Spanish message about a TV show or something.

It was an italian or spanish message.I did not understand because I am a french speaking person from Québec

I received the message on January the 23 at 2.15h. p.m.

It was a message in SPANISH!  Hellooo....this is America, we speak English!  I hung up, no clue what it says because I don't speak Spanish!
