It seems to be connection between this Susan Schwartz and this Sean Martin same area code and same company with same lines being used of threatening to file procedings in your local county courthouse Sean Martin calls from  716-242-5215 while Susan calls from 716-748-6257 but its all the same company Unified Portfolio

Said they have a case file for me and called my parents number.  Hmmm....  I would NEVER give anyone that number as I never lived in the house they currently reside in and it was never my number.  Calling from NY on the eve before Thanksgiving??  Just really off to me.... I live over 1000 miles south of there....

Have received numerous phone calls from these people i call it back they are very rude and state i have to pay them 800$ over a law suit i start asking for any info available they refuse say they cant disclose that to me but state the law suit will be filled if i dont pay them now speak to a manager whose name was Kelley Wright she was very rude stated she did not have time to speak to me because she was dealing with other people who unlike me they wanted to pay there bills lol all i wanted to know was the dang contact number for the lawyer who was suing me

Shawn (shaun, sean?) Martin called me at my office # claiming that my mother has a case number and had left me as a contact to reach her. She did not. Totally false! I have no Idea who this guy is or where he  received my info, but I fully intend to get to the bottom of this. Thanks to all of you for your information.

I also got a call from a shaun martin on yesterday informing me of a case number and he also had my social security number and my cell number.  He did not tel me what company he was from which is why I did not call back!   He told me to either call him or to have my attorney call him.  After reading these emails, I certainly intend to do the latter. What the hell and who in the hell are these people?
I certainly intend to inform the better business bureau as well as the attorney general in my state to stop this madness!

This number called me and left a message - a guy named Shawn Martin. Didn't say what company/office he was with. He implied that there was some sort of claim with the county that I currently live in and left a case number... he had my social sec # too.

Hmm the repotrts are interesting. Sam you may be right however, I reveiced a call from this number several times and guess what, they had the wronmg number. I have told them that who ever they are looking for is not atthis number. why are they still calling? I live down south in a totally different state nd jurisdiction so why they hell would they be looking for someone with my phone number? I live 15 hours away from Buffalo. Whoever these people are do Harass and I have told them they have the wrong number and that they need to research their records on who they're looking for. They are leaving threatning messages for a person who in my eyes doesn't exist...why...YOUHAVE THE WRONG FREAKIN NUMBER A***S!! I have definitely reported them for harassment. So Sam maybe for you it worked out but for me..I'm being harassed because they're looking for someone else..people change cell phones and cell phone number occasionally..duh!

GOT A CALL FROM THIS COMPANY UNIFIED PORTFOLIO MAN ADVISED I HAD A BILL WITH THEM I ADVISED I WOULD CALL BACK AFTER I LOOKED INTO IT HE SAID OK PLEASE DO , I FOUND THAT THEY ARE A LICENSED COMPANY IN SEVERAL STATES , THESE GUYS ARE DOING THEIR JOBS THERE IS SO MANY PEOPLE THAT WANT 2 COMPLAIN AND LOOK FOR A WAY OUT OF PAYING WHAT THEY OWE ON THESE WEBSITES  TRY TO CALL THEM AND ASK IF THEY CAN HELP YOU TAKE CARE OF THE BILL THATS WHAT I DID AND I SAVED $276 OFF MY BILL !

Got a phone call from this number. The caller left no message.

After politely explaining to the caller from this number that they had the wrong number, I was assured my phone number would be removed from their list as a contact for the individual they were looking for.  I am still, two weeks later, being contacted by this company.  I can never speak with a supervisor-as if one doesn't exist and when asked for a physical address for this company I am only given a PO Box 220, Cheekowaga NY.

My 16 year old daughter got a call from these people saying they had court papers for her dad and I. My daughter called me almost in tears thinking we were going to jail. I asked for their address and was told all they have is a PO Box. I asked for their website and was told they did not have one. I called the attorney general's office and was told these people are SCAMMERS!!!! Do not pay them nor give these people the time of day! Do whatever you can to have their number blocked so they can not harrass you. They are in total violation of the FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act) I now have a recorder and will record any messages they again leave and also record the conversation.

If it's the same woman who left a message on my mother's answering machine, her name is Susan Schwartz.  Her message implied that she was a public official.  Susan, I'm on to you.  You are not a public official, but a debt collector.

When they call me and my familiy, Susan says she represetns DJR, but at the same number. The won't tell me who I owe or for what so this is a scam.  I have reported them to the BBB and to the NY attorney generaly for their illegal practices.  As for NA above - get a life and quit flaming people who are being scammed and trying to stop the scammers from doing it to others - HOPEFULLY YOU!

I spoke with Timothy Wallace yesterday 12/30/10 about his violation since I have a bankruptcy discharge and he said that "accroding the agreement that I signed I could not file bankruptcy against his clients" He also did not like my attitude and asked if this how people in Oklahoma conduct business and I replied to jack-offs like him we do and he asked do you think it works and I said YES because it got YOU hot under the collar. I asked if how it felt to be treated the same way and he said who do you think is harrassing who and I said it is only fair isn't it. He, then proceeded to tell me I was playing games and he wasn't going to deal with me beacause I hide behind bankruptcy when I have an obligation. I also proceeded to remind him that anything discharged in a bankruptcy can no longer be collected on and he is violating the law and I said YOU were the one that called my number. He asked if there was a message left I said no and he said he leaves messages and I said then who in your office would call me, then. I cornered this guy and my friends all call me a pitt bull so, I was going for his throat by showing him I was not going to back down from him. He hung up on me and so I called him back and said wait a minute I am not done with you as you wanted the numbe off my caller ID so, I gave it to him again and I had this chump flustered he accused me of cursing at him and I said the word jack-off is not a cuss word it is a form of masturbation that he must do when he calls people because it gets him off.  again he hung up on me so after about 2 hours I called the other number on my caller ID and got this real garbled message that I could not understand and then a guy answered and I told him about the automated message and he said this was United Portfolio he said let me get my computer back it was 7:30p my time 8:30p his time in Buffalo NY he said my number had been removed from system of course that is what Tim Wallace said too as back in Oct 2010 I had a lady call me claiming to be a deputy from this same prefix and I faxed her all my bankruptcy discharge papers and she claimed it was removed then. I figure they will call again and again --- and when they do I will have fun with them again EVERYBODY NEEDS TO STAND UP TO THESE BOTTOM FEEDERS -  they represent many payday loan companies (internet) which many of them are illegal in many states everyone needs to call their Attorney Generals and report them. here are a couple of the numbers I looked to see if I had their fax number and I do not have that anymore. 1-716-748-6255, 1-716-748-6256, 1-716-748-6257 tim wallace direct number (he loves voice mails lol)..... my ex-wife had signed up for these payday loans without my knowledge very long story - and here are just 3 of the companies they represent E-PAYDAY LOAN.com, PAYDAY LOAN YES.com and PAYDAY LOAN.com  the PO boxes are fake out of UTAH and FL all were returned by PO from my bankruptcy court they also have some 800 numbers they hide under and the phone numbers and customer service e-mail addresses on their website will get you nowhere. BUT LEAVING messages to TIM WALLACE will get his attention and he will threaten to file suit and I did tell him you go right ahead because you will have to deal with the US Bankruptcy Court rules

I too keep receiving phone calls from 716-748-6257 along with unknown numbers stating they need to speak with me about a matter I left just as many voice mails as they leave me and letting them know that my bankruptcy was discharged in Sept 10 and they were included as I had received a call from a woman in Oct from this same prefix and first three and so I had faxed them my bankruptcy info.  I am going to leave them as many messages as I can just like they like to bother people-----

I keep getting calls Timothy Wallace stating he is from Unified Portfolio representing Cash Borrowers. He told me I took out a payday loan in 2006 with Cash Borrowers and I owe $525.00. I tried looking up Unified Portfolio and they do not exist. i live in Mi and they are calling from Buffalo NY. When I told him that I have been a victim of idenity fraud and I do not send money or do business over the phone, he got upset. He put a woman named Susan on the phone claiming to be his supervisor. Her number is 716-748-6220.
