THEY MAKE CALLS CAUSE THEY ARE ASKED TO GIVE REFERENCES ON THE ORIGNAL CONTRACT FOR THE DEBT, & FURTHER MORE IF YOU NEVER PAY THE DEBT IT IS STILL OWED EVEN IF THE STATUE OF LIMITATION IS PASSED IT IS A DEBT THAT HAS NOT BEEN PAID & NOW HAS HELPED OUR COUNTRY IN THE HOLE.........BUT PEOPLE SEEM TO THINK ITS OK CAUSE THEY FELL ON HARD TIMES BUT EVEN THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF DEBT & IT SAYS OWE NO MAN.........

Sorry, my msg is a bit garbled at the beginning.  Still don't know how to type on a laptop!

They have repeatedly called me trying to find a friend of mine who got an "online loan" some years ago and puan finish the sentencet me down as a reference.  They call and ask for my friend and tho I have told them several times she does not live or use this number, they keep calling.  If I try to ask them to stop calling my number, they hang up on me before I can finish my sentence.  the last time I called, i asked for the name of their co. and she said Berstein siegal & assoc. but when I asked for a mailing address she got rude and beligerant and refused to give it to me but had already given her name as Stasi (she spelled it).  She then hung up on me but called back about a minute later and when my son picked up the phone, she again asked to speak to my friend's name and when he tried to say something, he was also hung up on.  they have also left messages threatening criminal action.  i will send a cease and desist letter and see how that goes.  after that, I may use the services of my neice, who is a lawyer!

Reading these I received the same calls...twice now. With Good Luck at the end of each call. threateneing litigation and execution of summons to my place of employment. She yawned in the middle of the message. Said its a civil complaint. At first I was worried but then I read all of this...UNREAL!

They are nothing but a collection agency. They will not sue you. I know a person that works there. They get a bonus check if they collect enough money. They also use an internet phone system so it looks like they are in different states. Other numbers they use are:
213-995-6219, 302-380-7512, 804-420-4845, 877-617-8222. They have several others. I called the 213 area code then the 804 area code and the same girl answered bothe lines. Pretty good she can be in Virginia & California at the same time! Do not give them a dime! The owner has been in prison, you would have to be crazy to give them any thing other than a ceist & desist letter.

Also: call their landlord and let him know what kind of business is being done from his building: 716-542-9771.  I'm sure he will get sick of the complaints. He doesnt even know that they are a collection agency.

I believe that this type of company should be shutdown.  Turned into the Attorney Generals Office if phone calls keep coming.  They make random calls with people of the same last name in searches in hope of some poor unknowledable person being scared.  Shame on them and to think someone makes a living doing this.  Hope they can sleep at night...

I just got a message from this number and he said "good luck" to me too.  Criminal court action for an unpaid debt?  What's that all about?

From Bernstein & (Something) Associates, Civil Complaint #ROP6058.  She said "good luck" at the end.

Received message citing "Civil Complaint #50006810" and "possible criminal court action",  leaving name of Berstein S & Assoc of NY. They even had a name........don't have any unpaid bills, so collection agency doesn't make any sense and no civil/criminal trouble in my life. Called their # back from a cell, heard the name of so-called business and hung up. Immediately a man called back on the cell I used so they are employing caller ID. I told him I just mis-dialed, he said Ok and hung up.

Scavenger collection agency trying to collect debt included in a bankruptcy.  Tries to scare you with the usual "criminal action" threats.

Call the 877 number left on my voicemail.  Put me on hold for 7 minutes and then told me no one was available and to leave a message.

Called my cell phone.  Left no message.  Reverse listing indicates a landline in Buffalo, New York.

Call the number back and it didn't even ring but just played music.  Then a robotic voice said Seagle & Associates and no one can take your call leave a message.

I hung up as I receive scam calls every day but this number doesn't show up on the internet as having been called to anyone else.
