They keep calling but don't leave a message.  I tried calling them back but get disconnected.  I have absolutely no idea why they are calling.  On one day they called about 4 times in one day. It's getting ridiculous.

called looking for a family member. I told them we have no contact with them. the man was very polite said he was sorry for bothering me. He never said who he was or why he was calling. I assumed it was a collection agency as we get calls for this family member now and then. they usually stop for awhile after telling them we have no contact,probably after another collection agency buys the debt.

RUDE RUDE RUDE ---- I got a call from them...... "Redline Recovery". Before I can even speak the lady had an attitude! She didn't ask any security questions. She just jumped right into the when can u pay speech. I respectfully asked her who is she and where is she calling from; she had an attitude! Then I said, I need a bill sent to me for proof because I am not giving my card info over the phone to some stranger! She said, "That's not going to happen!"... I'm like if you want to get paid you should take security steps such as sending a bill. Then she started to go on about how she needed a payment by the end of this phone call. Please!! I don't know you! I said Ms. ... you are being very rude to me and I don't appreciate this! As I'm saying this she is going on with threats and saying I better rally up a lawyer and saying how they WILL get paid back and all kinds of dis-respectfulness!  Then I kindly said, Ma'am... this is when I hang up because I will not have anyone speak to me like that! Then moments later she calls again and leaves a message... and in the message she says "You go to church, right?"... Well So-and So from your church (I omitted the name) will relay the message to you! And she went on to say "I go to church too and I have learned that my word is my bond!!"....

Who does that?

So unprofessional!!

First- there is a breach in privacy if she having someone come to me at church... to talk about a confidential and private matter!

Second - All the threats are unnecessary! And so dis-respectful!

my cell and house number aren't listed in my name and still people are calling.

Within the past 6 weeks, I started receiving calls from this company/phone number, inquiring why I did not pay a credit card bill and why I got behind.  Interesting facts:  would not tell their name or company and when he did you could not understand him, called me at work leaving a message to return the call so that the process could be started and the most interesting fact, is that I paid off the card and closed the account 3 years ago!!!

I did debt collecting for a month and was told you make good money at it so I tried it. It's true but the way you have to talk with people is horrible. You are also encouraged to not call the person with the debt. You call their friends, family, co-workers and tell them to relay the message because you are not able to take them off the calling list until that person calls in a handles the debt. Many companies do not even tell you they are collecting a debt which is illegal.

I actually turned the company I worked for into the states attorney general office and the offices of the states our location called. In certain states it is illegal to collect a debt if it is a certain number of years old and we were doing precisely that. This is why there are public judgements, once collections fail within the legal time frame.

I have to admit, I have had a few collections after my identity theft and they are horrible.

Expected call.  But no name came up on the caller id.  Just the number.

TELL THEM IN THE LETTER, IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, that under the Federal Fair Debt Collections Act, they are not to call your phone number, not to call you at work; and if they are chasing down some old acquaintance or ID thief, tell them you haven't had contact with the person for years, or that you are a victim of ID theft. Tell them if they do not leave you alone, you WILL (emphasize WILL however you like, but make it plain it's not MIGHT or MAYBE) be suing them, reporting them to your attorney general and to the Federal Trade Commission, maybe mention you've always wanted to own your own collections agency. If the collection is allegedly about you, tell them under the same Collections Act, you want VISIBLE WRITTEN PROOF of the debt and that it is yours, with any signed contracts or agreements, within 30 days.

If they don't cooperate, do what you threatened to do!

They indeed a collection agency. However, I had a good experience with them. I had a woman, and I told her immediately that I was a victim of ID fraud, and I had a lot of information for her. I proceeded to tell the person where she could find our alleged ID thief. She said she would take our number off the sheet. We'll see if that happens. I'm not taking them off the reject list yet. Stay tuned.

Called me today, twice and I have no business with them and am not in debt to anyone.  They claimed that they did not call me when I returned their call.

These idiots called me looking for my daughters ex boyfriend.  Thing is they broke up over 10 yrs ago.  They told me he used me as a refference < which i never gave him permission to do>.  I asked them to stop calling me for we do not have any contact with daughters ex and no nothing about him.  They insisted < after the person said no no no you listen to me and the facts.>.  I told them remove my name and they said they couldnt.  Guess i have no other recouses to contact nys attorney generals office and any other agency. They are rude and think they are high and mighty .

Got a call from this number on our daughter's cell phone. Claimed the call was an urgent business matter that would balloon into something worse. Looked up the number and it is a debt collector. Have no idea why they are calling as we have no loans and would never use our daughter's cell number as our contact number. Makes no sense.

I told them we are not who they are looking for and they were rude and called me a liar etc. Jerks and I will call the police if it keeps happening not that that will do good but what is the problem here!

Redline Recovery.  The man yelled, called me names, was aggressive, loud, rude, accusatory, and would not let me speak. Very threatening.  I'll be moving to sue.
