he call twice within a week 05/13/14 @ 10:16am left a message on my machine and 05/14/14 7:17am and said his name is Joseph X, He said he is from IRS office and said someone sued against me, I said I don't understand what you're saying, can you spell the name of the person that you're looking for, he with a Indian accent I really don't understand what he's saying, so after he spell the name of the person, I told him this person moved out for many years, I just took down the name that he spell out and also his # 716-810-2551, and said to him I will tell this person to call you back, then I hang up on him.  I knew that IRS would not call person at this early @ 7:17am. For sure a SCAM would.

Of course this is a scam.  But don't be afraid to talk to them, just don't give them any personal info.  I just ask them a lot of questions about their credentials and to speak to a person who doesn't have an accent.  Try that, it is hilarious.  They kept hanging up on me so I kept calling them back!  The last straw for them was when I asked what city he was in, I couldn't understand him so I asked him to spell it.  He asked me if I spoke English, since I had made fun of his accent before.  He continued to refuse to spell the city so I said " Are you f***ing kidding me.  You can't even spell the name of the city you are in."  He then hung up and I am guessing, took he phone off line because I could only get an answering machine from then on.  LMAO stupid scammers.  This is fun.

If you get a call from 716-810-2551, it is a total scam.  A guy, with an Indian accent, claiming to be Agent Johnson of IRS, claimed that I had unpaid taxes and that I had to pay right away the amount of 2K plus. He asked me if I had a lawyer to represent me in court and that if I didn't pay up, a sheriff would show up knocking on my door.  I told him the IRS does not operate the same way he does and that he sounded like a scammer.  Then I hang up on him.

If you get a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS, here?s what you should do:

   If you know you owe taxes or you think you might owe taxes, call the IRS at 1.800.829.1040. The IRS employees at that line can help you with a payment issue, if there really is such an issue.
   If you know you don?t owe taxes or have no reason to think that you owe any taxes (for example, you?ve never received a bill or the caller made some bogus threats as described above), then call and report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 1.800.366.4484.

Got a call from this number and she said she is a IRS agent. I am a bookkeeper/payroll/accountant and start asking her questions. She got mad and said that police will arrive to my house within an hour to arrest me. Have your attorney ready.

This tells me that some junk people are calling and trying me get s*** from me.

Just got the call from this number. a guy putting on fake accent claiming to be from IRS. I told him you scared me booo!!!! and hung up. Fortunately I knew about this IRS scam going on. I still do not know where to report and how to report this number.

Hello, I got a call from Kevin Jones from this number 716-810-2551.  He gave me his badge number BFN856MK.  The guys is supposed to work for IRS.  I told him that with his permission, I will record the call.  He got angry and started shouting.  I told him to shut up and get lost.  

I left a message for him at this number to let him know that I am sending this information to the Police.  

Received a phone similiar to ones posted on this page.  Report they are from Federal Tax Investigation and I owe money.

I got the same message today...they keep calling

They called claiming that my mother-in-law owed federal tax. When I talked to the guy and asked for the company address and phone number, he started asking me why I need to know that. I told him if he's with "a major federal investigation company" as he claimed, then there's no big deal in knowing that.

He asked me, who are you? (my mother-in-law first talked to him and then got nervous (cute little thing she is!) and gave me the phone). I told him that I'm so-and-so's son-in-law and I have her complete authority to talk on her behalf.

He started getting upset. I got his attention and said, "You know, your reaction to what I said proves that you're not a legitimate company. BYE!!!" "Click."

Unfortunately, there are people out there like my older, fragile mother-in-law that don't have a person they can give the phone to.

The phone number was 716-810-2551 from Buffalo, NY. The guy had an Indian accent. Hope they get those guys.

IRS SCAM!!! Heavy Indian accent, threatening me with tax fraud charges. Called from Washington, DC, Buffalo, NY, and Grand Prairie, TX. Callers very hostile. They seem to be targeting people with Indian surnames. My father-in-law is also being harassed by these criminals!

Second IRS scam number in a week!!! This loser claimed to be from the IRS. They called 3 times in the last 2 hours. We were also told that he would see us at the court house! TOTAL SCAM!!

He said his name is Kevin Jones! He said he is from IRS revenue office ! And He said some one sued me for not paying government taxes! I said Go to Hell and don't ever call me again! And he is saying that I will see u outside of court house ! I said ok fine see u outside of court and before that I am calling police and report this number and he hung up!

They called and told me they were from the IRS and said I owed $27,000.00 in unpaid taxes. They said I would go to jail for a 17 month all expense paid vacation. Or I could settle it outside court for the blue light special price of $3000.00. What  A deal I am signing my check as we speak.

This morning I got call from them. They hang up after few second. The lady said she is calling from federal tax investigation

Hmm.  This is a "full-service" scam shop using a Magic Jack number.

They keep calling and they said they are from IRS # is 716 810 2551

He called and said his name was Mike Palmer from US Financial Services. They will call and tell you the loan you applied for is approved. However, you didn't apply for a loan! It's a scam for sure!!! When I told them to quit calling and that I'd call the police, the guy started yelling at me! Unbelievable piece of work! You won't get my money!
