called and woke me up at 7 am an my only day to sleep in. Said we took out a loan and they wanted info. told them we dont do that.I chewed her out for waking me and told her to speak english. She said I am speaking english. I told her I am on the do not call list. She kept asking for info no matter what I said. So I yelled do not call me again and hung up

Got a call on my cell phone stating that I took out a $1,000 loan. I insisted that I did not and hung up the phone.

A man that I could barely understand called me and said he needed to verify information about my loan I applied for. I told him I did not apply for a loan. He said that I did and I needed to verify the correct information. I asked him what type of loan I applied for he said an auto loan. I told him I never applioed and didn't need an auto loan because I already owned a vehicle. He asked what type of vehicle. I said I owned a Ford. He started yelling and telling me that I owned a stupid dumb truck and needed a new one. I said excuse me, told him to lose my information and hung up.  I talked with a few people about what to do next. After talking with them I called the guy at the same number back and verified his first name (Mac) and the company (Auto Loan Network). He again said my name and e-mail address. I told him I never applied for the loan and wanted to know how he got my information. He said he also had my social security number. He continued to repeat "Bye, Bye." Over and over again he said this. I aksed him if he was threatening me. I told him to lose my information and get on with life as a normal worker. I looked up the company online and the District of Columbia said this number was fraud and said all people should just hang up. Then I went looking for this number online and ended up at this web-site. I have filed a police report and put Identity Theft Protection on all my accounts.
