A gentleman with a light French accent wanted to follow up an invitation that had been emailed to a manager.  I told him that company policy dictated that invitations must be sent via standard mail to our PO box, which I'd be happy to provide.  He seemed surprised but said he'd comply, then read off the address to confirm.  If he already had it, he knew our procedure, so why use electronic means?  And where did he find this person's email address?  At least he was pleasant and intelligible and on a clear line, unlike the call center intrusions that I normally get.

Called me, left no message.  Called them.  Kevin answered.  Telemarketer representing different "companies" - sales, surveys, what not.  Hung up on them.  Mark this one down as "cold calls".

Just missed a call from this number 716-817-7157 - didn't leave a message, and caller ID shows "Unknown".

It seems to offer office facilities for companies judging by the comments left here and that "they" called me with a recorded message saying I had "won" a medical alert system free, or that it had been sent to me by a friend or relative. Thankfully I knew the call was fake, but I can imagine some people would be taken in because the call was very professional. The recorded voice was diamond clear, male and all-American sounding. Not the usual heavily accented foreign call centers. It also spoke and left pauses for you to answer like you were talking to a real person.

Consumer newsletters have been featuring these calls recently, so I guess there must be a lot of them being made.

I've been getting calls daily from them asking me if I'm the IT manager so they can send me a white paper, I've asked them repeatedly to take me off their list. The last time I asked for this the gentleman at the other end said I was being rude and that's why they keep calling me. They didn't used to leave VM if i didn't pick up, now they let it ring till VM answers and all I hear is them hang up. I've put my number on the do not call list and will be repeatedly be reporting them till action is taken to make them stop calling.

they called us and stated they are "cx tech"

A woman called & said that her name was Jill with Sungard, but the caller ID said CSD.  She asked to speak with our IT manager, but we're such a small company that we outsource on an as-needed basis.  She provided 866-407-5295 as a call back#. Their website said that they're a software & technology services company.

Same thing. First call at 3:46pm. That's fine. Next to calls before 8am. Not cool. No message left.

Received a call at 8:22 am PDT on 4/22. No message. My number is listed on DO NOT CALL.

Only want email solicitations - if this is from Kingston Technologies - please stop calling my cell phone incessantly - if you get me to answer, you will wish you hadn't.

Got a call from them, caller ID said CSD, I let it go to voicemail, could hardly hear the message, said "Damon Johnson from Vertex" and some 866 number and extension to call him back at...sure, sure, hold your breath while I dial...

a friend with the same first name as mine, got a voicemail from this number saying that call was for <our common first name> and <my last name>. Caller said call is from SAP and gave call back number as: 8772934924. very strange.

Got the call, said her name was Heather with Vertex, a Tax software company we use. Started asking me all kinds of questions that Vertex should already know about the company I work for.  At that point I cut off the call.

Left the following message, This message is for "me by first and last name" this is Lona Bar calling from SAP I do need to touch base with you my number is 877-293-4924 and that's going to be extention 590. I have never conducted any buisness using this phone number, all buisness handled by this phone number is done under two other people who work here's name so I believe she got the name from the answering machine.

Cold Call

Unsolicited call from a Mitsubishi sales rep regarding projectors and large screen displays for our business

She said her name was Jackie from Xerox.  Calling about a recent lease cancellation.  I knew something was up since she asked originally for our CEO.

I didn't answer and set the phone to fax when I saw the number on the Caller ID, but I also had recently called Kingston Technologies. So this makes sense. The name on the Called ID was CSD.

had a missed call from this number this morning @ 7:56AM Central time.  nothing on the message.  Not sure who it is but if it is collection company or telemarketer, I would like to find out because they broke the law, "calling at an unreasonable time"   I thought these types of calls were only to be made between the hours of 8AM to 9PM local time.

Several calls from this number.   Number appears to be in the Buffalo area.  No-one ever leaves a message.
