Google the FDCPA. Know your rights. It's easy. When "Christine" calls again, tell her you've done so. Tell her that you'll be expecting that required notice of validation. By mail. NOT e-mail or fax. "Christine" is going to gasp & go in to what might be thought of as an apoplectic fit. She'll try to regain her composure & will start blustering. At this point, tell her that Gunnar at this site says "Hello!". Rest assured, she'll "thank" you for passing on my greeting......
If you choose not to hang-up, remind "Christine" that she can't put anyone "under a wage garnishment". Only a Judge can do that. Then ask "Christine" when the last time she saw a Judge was. Tell her to give you her outfits physical address. When she refuses tell her you know why. She doesn't want to see another Judge....

It's really quite simple - it's a scam attempt.  Per federal law - the FDCPA - you should not pay any caller who refuses to mail - do not accept email or fax - proof of debt/proof they have the legal right to collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this documentation within five days of their first call is a violation of federal law.  In other words, if they can't or won't MAIL written, verifiable proof that you owe this money to them, they can go pound sand - per the FDCPA.

A woman by the name of Christine apple gate keeps calling my phone threatening to put me under wage garnishment if I don't pay a loan off that I never received. She has all my information which I never gave her and claims I got the loan in 2012 I've called my bank and verified I never received a pay day loan from the lenders she is referring to. Also the lender she is stating in Ssm group

I sued this company for their FDCPA violations and they were suppose to show up to court, and they didnt, what cowards.  The judge ruled in my favor via default.  This company needs to be shut down

They called me numerous times and a lady was referring to herself as an attorney and saying I would have a warrant issued if I didn't pay it. I contacted the place that I did have a loan through and they did verify that it was in collections but stupidly I didn't verify which one. I sent these guys $400 to "settle" my claim and almost 3 months later I receive a call saying my account is still in collections. When I called my loan company they said they wouldn't use a company from New York to collect something on Oklahoma. I took the "debt relief" paper to them and they confirmed that this company is in fact a joke and scamming numerous people. DO NOT SEND ANY OF THESE PEOPLE MONEY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE!!

This company is a fraud, they called this moring and threaten me and my family.  Their employee would not identify himself. When I asked for his name he refused to give it, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, he said he was the boss and didn't have a supervisor.  He called me a broke bi*** and said I was going to jail. He threaten me by saying he knew where I lived and he would come to my home.  He also called my son a mother f****r when he intervened. We discovered his name was Vincent Starks by continually calling back until we got his voice mail.  Another ignorant employee, this time a female got on the line and was a bigger a hole then Starks.  I have no problem paying a legitiment debt, but I think I'll rather deal with the court.
