After having read about 50 negative experiences in a row with this number, we all of a sudden see a praise review, it's like trying to revive a corpse - nice try!

This caller is a fraud spammer calling any web owners in violation of do-not-call lists.  Do not answer these calls; they will never stop calling if they get a human response.

A message was left from a person by the name of Jessica Packer from Mainstreet in regards to my website. Don't know the company nor have I done business with the company. This was definitely a solicitation.

Just received a message from this number 716-831-9716 from a Sean Farley asking me to call him back at a different 1-800 number concerning who was in charge of my website. It felt suspicious, so I went on line to learn about the company Main St
that he said he was from. I won't be calling back! I figured this was not legitimate. Thanks for posting on here everyone!

They called me claiming to be Main Street Hospital and that is what showed on the phone.

They wanted to speak to the owner of one of our websites. I said the owner was not here.  I asked what it was about and they said goodbye.

My phone number is on the "DO NOT CALL LIST"! I am reporting this number for sales and not adherely to the Gov'ts DO NOT CALL LIST! yOU SHOULD ALL DO THE SAME!!!!!!

Just answered a call from this number on our clinic's phone and they hung up.  LOL guess we won't have to argue with them. Thankful and grateful for that!

That's a bit like saying, "Someone used my credit card to buy a $2500 pair of shoes and saying, At least they have good taste."

Main Street Host on Caller I.D. Telemarketer left a message to call 888-374-3791. Being on the National Do Not Call Registry is a joke.

Main Street Host showed up on caller ID, was asking to speak to owner of our small business. Asked to call back since owner was not in the office. Called back, I answered again, said as manager he could speak to me about the website of our business, only I googled their business and found on BBB website a D+ rating, with 32 complaints involving signing up with them, and them not delivering, and using their contract as collateral. I asked to have our number removed, said he needed to speak to owner again, to which I explained he had been asked to take our number off their list a second time. Said he would just email the owner...I manage our email accounts, so I will be reporting their email as well.

Tried to tell me Google had a new algorithm for determining low and high quality sites. It was published over 2 years ago, and anyone who is running the marketing of your website (rep was in the previous day mind you...) already knows about it, and it's what we pay for her to take care of. Why would I want another company to do same thing, and charge more?

He became rude and hung up on me. This is the type of business that preys on people, regardless of size.

Just calling lots of random businesses without researching who you are first. Lame.

Yep. Got a call from this company on my cell phone. Some lady left a VM with her name and her toll free number and extension. LOL.. Yeah right! Like I would bother calling these low life's back.

Telemarketers wanting to optimize my web site because of "Google Panda updates". No thank you. Now filed under Z for zeros in my contact list.

Call from 716-831-9716 to my business mobile at 1:03 p.m. Central ... busy with e-mail, did not answer ... appreciate being able to Google numbers and find these reports

Totally rude sales call! I listened to her original pitch, then told her thank you, but we were not interested in the services she was offering and she basically told me I was a child and didn't know what I was talking about, and then she said I should "put my listening ears on and learn a little bit about business." Hmmm, not the best way to get a customer. I ended up hanging up on her because she just kept talking over me.

they call and call and call, year in and year out. I ignore and ignore and ignore, then erase erase erase from caller ID.  I never answer and never caller-ID call them back. So:
The definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".  they must be insane.

Hi Tim, thanks for info. I'd like to use whichever company you are using for marketing which gets you listed first !  Any help would be appreciated (this is a sincere request). I also run a small business and for the first time in 20+ years, our phones are not ringing at our 2nd of two busy seasons. I hope you receive this.

If their marketing of your services is as good as your endorsement of them,  God help you. I do not believe you are a customer of theirs but rather on-staff @ Mainstreeethost & pretending to be a customer of theirs.  
They, CEO,  moved,  contack, directly are all spelled or used incorrectly.
Additionally, we are complaining about MAIN ST HOST's business practices , not searching for a fishing adventure.

Fast forward to August 2013, I still ignore these calls from MAIN ST HOST

Main Street Hosting. They must be trolling through old lists. I chased this company off years ago. Didn't want your buisness and don't want it now.

They hung up and did not leave a message.  I hate telemarketeers!!!!

Caller ID:  MAIN ST HOST.  They hung up when my answering machine picked up.

Someone from this number called asking to speak to "the business owner, CEO or whoever is in charge of advertisment" I started to let them know I can't transfer to an entire department but I could assist them in establishing a contact. The woman calling just kept screaming thank you and hung up.

Probably a good thing, the "establishing a contact" process is a recording telling them to send their info to an email address. People offering services are deleted and blocked :)

i recieved a call from this number this morning.  A woman said she was from Main Street and asked for me but mispronounced my name badly so I asked over and over "what is Main Street" and "why are you calling' "what message can I leave" and she just said "i just wanted to talk to her about her website" and hung up. I blocked their number, reported it as abuse and hope not to hear back from them.

These people have been calling me once every other day and this morning it was 2x's. At 5:30 am and 8:30.  Just call it back let the recording play and it will go to customer service.  Ask to be placed on the Do Not Call list.  They were very apologetic and complied immediately.

Just got a call from them about a website I put together to start my own business when I was in highschool 8 years ago. Thought the page had been deleted, guess not. They found it and called my cell.  I just told them it doesn't get used for anything. They politely ended the call. Now after reading all these reviews I'll have to see if they call and start harassing me or not.
