I paid them all and they still call me.  I will immediately file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and  Attorney General?s office.

Send them a Cease and Desist letter via Certified Mail informing that they cannot contact you on any number they have for you.  Make sure to keep a copy of the letter in case you need to file harassment charges again.  It is illegal to call someone once them have recieved that letter  and it carries a very strict fine.

They have been calling me and hanging up. Continental was bought out and balance transferred to a new account number. Wth this is fraud to lie that a person owes on this Matrix account. I do not owe a dime on this fake account.

They call and just hold the line. I have had this card a little over a year and honestly was ONE day late because I simply forgot (my fault) I know, but I am a customer who paid over the min payment due and never late--you'll think they will give you a break for a customer who normally pays on time. The guy keep calling my cell and work number, I finally answered by work number and asked do you not see where I made the payment on yesterday and you constantly dialing my employer back to back sir... "Oh I see the payment sir" I just hung up the phone. I'll send the card back and start paying off the balance because that's how they keep the cash flow with these fees.

Get a phone that you can block them with. I have a Panasonic does the job!!!

I keep getting calls from this number. According to other posters here, it's Continental Finance. I closed my acct months ago, no reason to call me! If I answer, they hang up.

Someone keeps calling our office, there is never anyone on the line. At least 7 times a day.

Continental Finance.  They sent me a credit card and told me to call to activate it.  I did not because of the  outrageous fees.  2 months later they sent me a bill.  $75 annual fees plus $20 a month  maintenance plus fees to pay on line.

I called and told them that I never accepted this card.   I never used it.  I never put it in my wallet.  I didn't ask for it and I don't want it.  Then I started getting several calls a day about me being late on my payment!

I just got off the phone with them again and they said they were sorry and that I don't owe anything.   I hope this is the end of this story.  

This should be illegal.  How they can send me a card I never asked for and refused then start charging all kinds of fees even AFTER I told them I did not accept the card then call me 3 - 4 times a day trying to get payment?

Send them a Cease and Desist letter for either telephone harassment or debt collection. Send it certified signed receipt return.once you get the receipt back signed by them under Federal Law they can call you one time after that they are breaking federal law.

I have a current, paid on time credit card with these people. My payment is due today. Well, I made my full payment and about 20 minutes later they are calling my phone. I bet they are going to tell me that it wasn't enough LOL

Sorry dum-dum but its YOUR responsibility to know when your payment is due. It's absurd that you are trying to pawn off your lack of discipline on them LMFAO!

This is NOT the only number they call from....I make my payments on time, but just once i sent $5.00 less ( not intended to) and they are now calling me up to 8 times a day!!!!!!!!!......I am going to contact the Indiana ATG and ask them about the multiple calls at my place of employment and on my cell.

The "many" numbers they use are endless,  But the most called are 800-394-0368---unavailable----866-451-8939 and 716-844-3197....

Since August first when i made my payment, they have called both work and cell 6 times a day (total 12 calls) from 7:30 a to 8:30 pm.

I have all dates and times recorded and will be submitting to AG....and i will be paying the balance (less than $300.00) in full and telling them to shove this card up their A**!!!!!

If you are on the national do not call list, you can file a report online. If not, sign up and wait 30 days and if they call again you can report them. If this is Continental Finance, you can file a report with your local State Attorney General's office.

my payment is due today.  they called my cell phone and my work phone back to back in a matter of seconds.  i'm guessing that this is not a business that i will continue to do business with.  on payment for the full balance and i'm cancelling the card.  maybe they need the money more than i do if they are calling me the same day the payment is due.  i just haven't made it to the website to pay it yet.  damnnnnnnnn.

My complaint is basically what every one else' is.. they call & call.. the message I am left is EXACTLY THIS: Our office is open until ( a certain time) NOTHING else is said. *** i have the # only because of caller ID. When I called the number back this is EXACTLY what I hear on the other end: Good afternoon. May I please have the number we contacted you?  ** NOT even said correctly. They @ NO point ever identified themselves. they have called several times each day for now 3 days.. WTH?

Yes.Continental Finance, I owe them about $ 87,578.02 but I won't pay nothing because next Sunday , I am leaving United States to live forever in Baja on my new house.I won't care about this debt anymore.

They call all the time, all day, every day!  They use different phone numbers, even Privite caller numbers, I have tried to tell them I'm out of work, but they just say "so how would you like to make a payment".  I tell them I can't pay but they just want a payment.  They don't care.  I even had one of their people cuss me out!  When I told him that I have been recording this call, he just said good and kept cussing me out!  They think that no one can do anything to them, but I've been building a case against them.  They will end up paying me in the end!  I have all their calls recorded, and I have made a DEMO CD of all the calls in order.  They will pay soon.  All of you can do the same thing that I have done with free software from the internet.  Just google ways to burn a CD and get the software and put the recordings on it.  Build a case against them, and they will have to pay all of us!

This is Continental Finance.  They do not leave voicemails and call TWICE EVERY HOUR!! Even when I answer, they don't say anything.  Not sure what the point of that is!

I got this credit card about a month ago but I did not receive a statement (paper or electronic). So of course it slipped my mind. Don't they legally have to notify you of when the payment is due? After logging into my online account, I can see they have already tacked on a $25 late fee, which I'm going to dispute. Plus it now shows my next payment is in November. Kind of crazy but I guess this is what I get for declaring bankruptcy and having to deal with mobsters who've gotten into the credit card business. I don't mind paying if I know when the bill is due.

They called me because my statement just printed and because of interest I'm .56 cents over my credit limit. I pay my bills every month on time and they want to cry about my limit being over by .56 cents? Lol, don't they know they pay more for the salary of their employees to call me plus the price of the call just to collect .56 cents thats over the limit due to the interest that accrued last month? I got this card when I was repairing my credit a couple of years ago and now thanks to them I will pay it off in fully and close my account next pay day. Thanks to their ignorace I will give CitiBank their business!
