This 716 844-6894 calls my cell once a day now for several months.  Guess what, I have NEVER answered the calls.  DO NOT ANSWER CALLS YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE - duh.  Why would anyone in their right mind answer area code calls or any calls for that matter from any outside area code or numbers that are not recognizable??
My current cell # must have been "owned" previous to me by a fiscally irresponsible scum - non bill payer -  fully in debt - maxed out credit cards idiot that gave out their cell number freely ---- and now their number is mine and all the scummy bill collectors are calling me!  I don't answer any of them, nor do I waste my time retrieving messages!  They will eventually give up calling you IF YOU DO NOT ANSWER THEIR CALLS!  Don't be stupid and give them any satisfaction!  
Now you know what to do - so do what works!

I keep getting calls for someone other than me.  They deceitful of who they really are and leaving messages as if I am that person.  I called them back saying that they are calling the wrong number and they are harassing me.  If I get another call from them I will call the police and have charges pressed, then contact my lawyer for compensation for aggravated harassment.  I have all the recorded messages saved so there is proof of the annoyances.

These people call and do not introsuce themself properly or what's the company. They try to scare you that somebody is using your SS# and to call immediately. Could be a collection company or somebody trying to still your personal info...

I have been getting these calls since August and I got another bunch yesterday. The lady is very rude I just happened to be in the house this time around and she would not give up. I hung up on her 2 x and then she called back 2 more times and left a message on one of the call backs. She also called my cell phone and I didn't answer that.  Persistent to say the least. I am going to go to the sheriff today to report this I think something needs to be done about these calls. they are trying to gleen info and probably have some way of attaching to your phone number to use it to rack up a big bill.

Reported the phone calls to the local sheriff and of course since the calls are coming from NY area they can't investigate but at least its reported and I was told to contact the attorney general of NY and file a complaint with them.  They know its going on and they are doing what they can to close them down.  I am not stupid and they think I will pay for someone else's debts. They are nutz.

We have received the same calls. She is wanting information on our son but won't tell why. When we tell her we will not disclose any information without knowing what it is for, she threatened with legal action. I think I pissed her off, because she said I was the rudest person she had ever spoken to. I think she needs to speak to herself on the phone before drawing that conclusion.

It must be for a debt collection.

"bill collector" of some sort. They claim that there is a problem with with your social security number/account that requires your attention.
