Woman calling asking if our doctors treat no fault cases.car accident law suits I guess.

Did you ever find out of this was accurate, or if it was a scam, the number seems like a scam, posing as the NYS dept of labor and sometimes the NYS social security disability office............????

These answers are helpful, but I am still freaked, i'm not sure I still have a concrete understanding, there are coflicting reports in this posting, some say it's labor office or social security disabiltiy, and some a scam, so anyone know what it really is?  They knew my name, where I worked and asked me about hours worked, etc, then I hung up and immediatly thought, why in the world did I answer them, and then tried to call back and nothing but ringing.....any other insight would be much appriciated.....

can not call it back says its a land line think it is a scam number

they called my house telling my wife that they were SS disability and that Ihad called them.
they called my cell she gave them but I missed it and they had left no voice mail.

it comes up on my home phone as out of the area.

all the dealings I have had with SS office when ever they call it says social security..

so watch this might be some kinda scam. give them little info unless you can get a good call back number.

I know what the call is about but my answering machine cut off Mr Owens message so I didn't get his phone number or ext#

How do you get in touch with these people, I tried to call number back but it just kept ringing. Tried to find address for it but couldn't find that either.

these people keep calling a place i haven't worked in over 3 years, i don't even live in NYS but they keep calling thinking I'm on Eastern time, hello people, numbers are very portable nowadays!!!!!

I keep getting a call from a Mr. Margala (not sure if that's the right spelling).  Wanting me to take my son to a doctor that I have never heard of.  Be very aware.

It's a Mr. Mergala (or something like that) calling from the NYS Disabilty office.

It's the NYS Dept of Labor buffalo office of Labor Standards, they may be calling to talk to you about funds due to you from an employer, investigating an employer, or the like.
