Called me twice within 2 Weeks. I didn't answer both times got curious because it was a 716 Number called back recording claiming it was Erie County Government Department of Social Services immediately hung up. Checked there website and the number on my Cell Phone is not on there website. So as far as i am concerned this is a S*** Scam Number.

There was no caller ID nor message left on VM. I am not a mindreader. I get more "spam" calls than real ones, so I don't answer unless I have a legitimate clue who is calling. I KNOW what the DNC list is for and it's basically useless.

"Annoyed1" above needs to read up on what the DNCR is for - to limit solicitation calls, not legit ones..
This number is the outgoing CallerID stamp for Erie County Government offices - as the last poster stated, there are a number of services under that umbrella.. They called me today from the D.A.'s office concerning a court case against a drunk driver that damaged a bunch of vehicles parked on a road, including mine..
People need to learn what the Do Not Call Registry is for. It doesn't mean there is a physical block on your phone for legitimate callers. If you're annoyed that they are calling you, you're ignorant.
