What would bring you to these stale postings, if you did not have some financial interests in this much reported "company"?

I have advertised with findrentals.com for over 5 years - they have brought great business my way for Angola and Ellicottville NY -  very happy and continue to use the service for many years to come.  When I have called the 716-741-4287 number which is customer service I have spoken with English speaking Americans - i called the 800 number today and left a message and a women called me back and it's Sunday?

I got ripped off by findrentals.com  High pressure sales, the guy says his name Ken Brown but after questioning him he admits his real name, some Indian name.Their marketing has been out sourced to people in India. First they sell you a smaller package, on their page of the local area of your rental , then once they have your money, they explain that you would get more exposure if your add appeared on the regional page, then they ding you for some more money. Then they try to get you to pay more money to have an add your country's page. At that point I told them no! They got me on the first two but then I realized the dishonest tactics. Why did he not explain everything at the beggining?Then they would not leave me alone so I stopped answering their calls.Then I noticed some mistakes on the listing and I could not change them because they change my password(I guess out of spite or so that I would have to call them). When I tried to call Ken Brown he had changed his number.  Now I always check companies out on the internet before purchasing anything. I got one bogus inquiry with no phone number within the first week and have never got a rental or any more inquiries. Avoid them at all cost!

Just listed with VRBO and got calls from this number. I am glad I looked it up here!

Obviously disreputable, as they call but never leave a message when I don't pick up - so I can't even tell you what they are hawking.  However, assuming they are a condo listing site,  I can tell you that I have been in the vacation rental business since the internet began, and once you are on VRBO, you don't need others.  And no, I don't have stock in VRBO.  Wish I had!

Every day, different times, for 30 days.  Finally I called today (June 19) to tekll them to stop it. What don't they understand?  Morons.  Let's see if it stops.

this company tries to sell you listings on vacation rentals.  its mostly a scam they have an obscure web site yu pay to get your rental listed and it actually gets you no business.  if you want to waste some good money yu could buy their service.   the callers are dishonest and its about close to scam as you can get.

This is Always on Vacation and they are a vacation rental property lister on the internet.  They are awful and use really high pressure sales techniques.   And they don't highlight your property in the Top 20 as they say they are going to.  They will hound you to death.

We also advertised through Homeaway.com.  I have no intention of even picking up calls from this #.  I have little patience with these creepy guys!

We also have had a vacation rental in the past.  I have received two calls in the past 2 days.  It generally only rings a few times and I haven't got to it in time. I thought it might be my son who just shipped out, so this is a big relief that I didn' t miss his call.

I got Comcast; now I can block calls. 716-932-9466 called and there was no one there. Just silence.

Not sure who is calling me from this number.  It is very annoying and I would like for it to stop!!  ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS HARASSMENT STOP?

At just 2 days of listing my property, I rec'd a very annoying call from this company wanting to market it. The add reads "for rent", not "for marketing". I asked the "indian" sounding person on the line to confirm if he was intested in renting and he replied yes. It seems to be a scam.

VCRBO  I will never list anything with these people again. They call all the time and drive you crazy! I took the suggestion and listed the caller as "junk".

...sounds like the last reply works for that company, they called and hung up a number of times in the last 2 weeks, and when I answered, they asked about a property but didn't have an address.  when I asked which address they hung up...

Very polite caller even though the calls were often. I paid to be on the website and received a rental.  They found me on vrbo and well I hope they give them a run for their money as vrbo service is horrible.
My advice to people in the world who hate solicitation, it is inevitable. - Do not add a telephone number on anything the internet offers.  I want my home rented and roll with the punches.  Also, I love the fact my 38 pictures on my listing were included and my home was up  in less than 8 hours.

Hello Gavin, I just got a call, trying to get us to list or villa with them.

The man could bearly speak English, had a poor English acent.
He told me he was in New York !
What I do is : I try to waste as much of their time as possible, I keept this guy on a poor conection on the phone for the logest time, every time he said something I would answer I cant understand you , can you repeat that ?

Over the past week I have received 14 calls from this number, with no one at the other end to leave a message, except for the last call.   Apparently they left the call off the hook, and I could hear Hindi chattering in the background. I called the number back and an automated message identified itself as Findrentals.com. I left a complaint, maybe they will stop.  I am filing an FTC complaint as well. 14 hang up calls is ridiculous and harrassing.

FindRentals.com Continually call, even after requesting to be removed off their calling list. I have homes listed on VRBO and HomeAway, and they get their phone numbers from there it seems.

Caller ID only says Buffalo NY
Man had slurred speech, sounded retarded, not like it was from India.  He asked if we had anything to rent.  My wife answered no, and he hung up.

also received a call yesterday from the same number...very poor connection so I hung up..

just got a call from 716-932-9466 - 11;00AM on 3-23-10...hung up...no one was there...

I get a number of calls from this number but never leave a message and I don't answer calls I don't know who is calling.  If they don't leave a message, they don't want me to know what they are calling for.

Indian person got my number from my vacation rental site HOMEAWAY.COM looking to get me to advertise, (VERY HIGH PRESURE) not a good company very very bad ....!!!!!!!!
