Yeah - I just got a call fromt he same guy and he said the same thing - totally sounds like a scam

Same message same person. I work for a law office and started asking him all kinds of questions like who he worked for, the court date, any briefs he had on the case. He got real ignorant and said he wasn't going to tell me. So I told him since he has all my information I will wait for the court to send me informatio and I will then talk to a knowledgable person. Also I am worried they have my ss number.

This number is Parker Collection Agency, 546 S 9th Street, Lebanon PA, 17042

This is the second call I have gotten from this same number. I told him where to go and  how to get there the first time. He just called again making threats regarding that I never called him back. I did call and speak with a lady at cash net who stated this is a scam. She even emailed me the info showing it is being investigated.....Freakin scum bags get a real job...

We called it back and they wouldnt tell us the name of the company.

Any legitimate business will give you their company name, address, an telephone number. From my investigation of this telephone number it seems that they intentionally want the above information to remain anonymous and they frequently change or use 800 numbers so that the receiver can't detect the location of the call. Making it hard for Law enforcement.

Cash Net as not been truthful with you, If you took a payday loan from them and didn't pay it back, they sold it to this company which is in violation of the Fair Debt Credit Pactice Act (FDCPA)

FDCPA - 806. Harassment or abuse

A debt collector may not engage in any conduct the natural consequence of which is to harass, oppress, or abuse any person in connection with the collection of a debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section:

(1) The use or threat of use of violence or other criminal means to harm the physical person, reputation, or property of any person.

(2) The use of obscene or profane language or language the natural consequence of which is to abuse the hearer or reader.

(3) The publication of a list of consumers who allegedly refuse to pay debts, except to a consumer reporting agency or to persons meeting the requirements of section 603(f) or 604(3) of this Act.

(4) The advertisement for sale of any debt to coerce payment of the debt.

(5) Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number.

(6) Except as provided in section 804, the placement of telephone calls without meaningful disclosure of the caller's identity. . Section 604(3) has been renumbered as Section 604(a)(3). 15 USC 1692d

Thank you cop1. I do not have any loans with cashnet wasnt even sure who they where till I googled them when I got the first call.. I did keep the email they sent me showing this to be fraud and being investigated but then again I don't trust anyone or anything anymore. I got a call from a woman yesterday with a strong middle eastern accent googled it and same thing a scam. They are saying they are with Morrison and Associates 229-299-5900 so I called it back and the lady was like if you give me all your information then I can help you.. Didnt happen....wasnt giving out anything.. I wish there was a way to get to these people and put them thru the hell they are putting me thru...

I googled Parker Collection Agency there number is no longer in service..Was going to see what I could find out...

Attn people...please start filing complaints with your states attorney general. Try to get as much information as you can.  Phone numbers, addresses and names.  Then file a formal complaint.  We need to get rid of these people.  Please research your rights!  You can not go to jail for a debt you owe.  Remember the only reason people go to jail for child support is because they violated a court order!!  If anyone on you have filed for bankruptcy protection, please contact your attorney to let them know you are being harassed.  Harassing you for a debt you included in your bankruptcy is a violation of your automatic stay.  Lets get rid of these awful people!!

just got a call from this number 717-202-4218 told me that i had a debt with them and first they left a message for my son..it has been going on for about 5 or 6 months now..so i thought i would call it back to see what was going on..from the time they answer the phone they were very mid west people hard to understand. they did not ask me my name but knew my son name..his name could go either way..so i did not say who i was..i was hung up on two times..the man just kept saying i am a fraud he must of said that 10 time each call..i call the number back and the same man i talked to ... was yelling and i said tell me who i was talking to and he would not..i said are you in the usa and he said new york..then he told me he would make i live a living HELL ..and i said tell me how this feels and i hung up on him..waiting for the phone to ring...

i recieved a voicemail from a male stating his name was Sean Wilson. he said he was a paralegal officer from the loan fraud investigation department. he stated that my social security number is under fraud investigation and for me to call him before it gets filed with the courts. he never once said the name of the company he was with. i tried calling back but the phone rang about 5 times then went to a generic voicemail. the voicemail didn't give the name of the company either. i'm pretty sure this is a scam. i've only recieved one call so far, but i've blocked the number anyway. 717 202 4218

This man named mike stone has been calling me for 2 days.  I don't know him or owe him any money. Please could someone stop these harrassing phone calls.

JUST TO LET YA KNOW THAT THEY CALLED ME TO AND SAID THAT I OWED FOR A PAYDAY LOAN , I TRIED TO ASK SOMETHING HE WOULD NOT STOP TALKING LIKE HE WAS ON A MISSION. AND COULD NOT UNDER STAND A WORD HE WAS SAYING  AND JAIL AND PRISON WAS IN MY FUTURE. Well, it just happend in NM got a call for this number and demanded that I pay him could not understand a word he was saying asked him to send me something in the mail so I would know were to send the money order to and he said no I can't it was less than 500.00 so I would have to give him a card number, also he sent me a fax on the fax not company name just attention to and this phone number and a fax number and an e-mail address and wanted all of my information they  told me that it was a debt that was for CASH NET USA, and I called them and they told me to call another number and I did and they told me that you filed Bankruptcy I said yes I did, I told this scam guy this and he said it did'nt matter I still owed it or I was going to be arrested for fraud......

Someone called me from this number stating that I owed for an unpaid online loan, which I have never done.  When I asked him what proof he had, he hung up on me. When I called back, he wouldn't answer.

we just went through the same thing this guy saying that he was from paralegal fin. inves. a loan my mother took out three years ago in PA. we live in wis. if you dont pay now you will have to show up in court and then fight it. telling her you know you took the loan out just pay now and you wont have to worry. and as soon as i told him that i have called our police department and reported him as fraud he hung up on me tried calling back as someone else and try to convince us that we were being disrespectful to him and that he knows what he is doing and we should just pay him the money. NO WAY.......... if this guy calls just call your local police and they will take care of it. we did and they called him to ask questions and all the guys did was threaten the police officer that he was going to sue him for what he is doing. whatever......

This is a scam, he talks with an India accent, but they have American names, Sean Wilson, yeah right.

So I get a call from 717-202-4218, couldn't understand him, but he says he's from a law investigation something.  He put me on hold, came back pretending he's someone else and I said hold please I'm going to record the call, he hung up. lmao   I dealt with people like this before, don't be afraid they are scam artist and if you were investigated for fraud believe me the authorities won't call you, they'll be at your door.  Just play their game, they'll leave you alone.

This person left a message saying something about a finance company filing suit against my friend and that I was a guarantor.. I've never signed anything for anyone. Couldn't even understand him. He called my cell.. WTH!

does anyone know who this is? I recieved a voicemail message from them & the guy spoke very broken english couldn't understand....so I deleted.
