They sell ourdoor advertising: imprinted flags, banners, signs, displays, etc. I'm not aware that they sell printers.

A man called our office this afternoon and tried to "confirm" that we'd been sent information about printers. We do use printers, but:

He claimed he had done business with us before --a lie-- but did not know our company name.
He claimed that he had spoken with my boss and that we had asked for information to be sent, also a lie (there are only two people in my office. If we had been in the market for a new printer, it wouldn't have been a secret.)

I told him to remove our number from his list and to not call back. We'll see.

This is similar to calls we're getting again from Hewlett Packard telemarketers trying to claim we've been interested in buying their printers (yet again, not true), but from a different company.
