Want to stop repeated telescam phone calls?
Try these alternatives:
1. Do not answer the phone if you see an unknown number on your Caller ID ... let it go to answering machine or voicemail. Many telescammers hang up after 3 rings.
2. If you have a smartphone, get one of the inexpensive or free phone blocker apps at your online app store, and learn how to use it.
3. If your cel is not "smart", read the manual to learn how to set up a "group". Assign the scammer's phone number to that group. Also assign a "silent ring" to that group. You will not hear future calls from that number.
4. Google NoMoRobo, and visit their site, to see if your phone system is compatible with that system. (It may or may not be compatible).
5. Contact your phone service provider. They may have a facility or method to allow you to block numbers.
6. If you buy things online, you might want to google "Amazon phone blocker" to see what devices or apps Amazon has to offer for landlines or smartphones. Similar devices are for sale on eBay and other online stores.

Just got a call from this number. I answered but no one was there. Assuming it was robo - came here to see.
Wondering how "Time Wasted" expects the phone company to protect us from people (or machines) who dial your number. Random or from a list, there is no telephone police. Just deal w/ caller ID or don't answer, let it go to voicemail. If it was important they'll leave a message. Or not.

We all pay into our telephone company EACH MONTH, and yet, they allow these people to CALL and CALL and CALL.....I have had 27 calls already today. loans, credit card processing, security systems and yet the telephone company I PAY will do nothing to protect me!!! Most do not even support the nonorerobo service.

robo Brittney says we called to get a loan and she can give us the money. Sorry robo scammer, no one has called for any money. Pressed 1 for a rep....gee, I think she got pissed off. She OFFERED to take me off her list.
