i get the same area code but different number and they call at least 10 times a day neeed to sue them and make them go bank rupe and stop this a ll at ones

I was one of those telemarketers.  I had never done cold calling.  I asked alot of questions during my training (ie: where do these numbers come from, why do we have to call so many times, how am I supposed to sound natural when its scripted?) It was the worst job I ever had.  They get your phone numbers because they buy lists of phone numbers from places you buy things from, or places you've entered your email into ans somehow get your number, I've heard that soon they'll be getting a bunch of lists that will have people's cell phone number also.  As far as calling 6 times a day idk.  If they call for a specific person and they get a spouse they are supposed to talk to them and ask if they are the spouse (husband or wife not girlfriend or boyfriend) they are supposed to give them the info.  If its a boyfriend or girlfriend they will simply say ok I'll back or when is a good time to reach the person.  NOBODY WON A $50k home makeover!  If you agree to have the info sent they send you a key that could possibly turn a lock in the directbuy building, and if it does then you win.  I was told if you don't pick up they will just keep calling.  Also they never leave messages and its automated calling through a computer thats why you can't call back.  If you tell them to take you off the list they are "supposed" to...I did.  But I do know that their were some people that didnt because the potential customer cursed them out so they kept their number in there to piss them off.  I'm glad I no longer work there because I don't like telemarketing.  But there is a ray of sunlight!! The person that owned the franchise no longer owns it.  You can look it up it was on the news you have to watch the news cast.  Corporate took over the lancaster directbuy and hopefully will restore order to the business and make it professional again.

This number has also been calling me - several times a day sometimes.  When I call the number back it just rings busy.  Today I got a call from the same number, this time they left a message on my voice mail.  They said they were from Life Lock and that someone was trying to open an account.  We belong to Life lock and I checked with the company.  We did not have anyone from that company alert us, nor was there anything odd happening with our accounts.  Life lock did not recognize the number (717-394-7257) but took the information down and advised us to always call them and check our on line account status for any alerts.

I thought I owed someone monet or something the wau they call and call and then call again. They get me every time .....I look at my phone thinking it is someone important. At least leave a message if gou atr going to call me like a crazy ex would do!

BUY DIRECT of Lancaster.  They are relentless and also in violation of the TCPA (Telephone Consumers Protection Act) auto dialing cell phones after repeated requests to stop calling and requests to include my number on their internal DO NOT CALL list.  In simpler terms - They are a***oles!

Seriously,  They need to stop calling and harrassing people.  Continue to call here, too!  I have far more important things to do than run for the phone unecessarily.

My wife just answered this number and a lady asked for me would not tell my wife anything about why she called who she was or any other info. My wife was very distraught and thinking the worst of course and now I can see I will be having to deal with this s*** or get a new blocked number.

Unbelievably abrasive. Just call your cell phone carrier and they can put a block on the number. After about 6 weeks of multiple calls per day that's what I decided to do.

This woman calls will not identify herself. Left a message that I have an appoint with her tomorrow.  I do not even live in the phone numbers calling area. phone # is 717-394-7257. calls came at 4:50pm, 6:30pm, 7:57 ,and just 8 minutes ago at 8:26 pm. when I try to return the call all I get is a busy signal.

This obnoxious company has been calling us as well.  They let the phone ring a few times and then hang up.  Or, they get the answering machine and still hang up without leaving a message.  When I try to call them back I get a busy signal every time.

Heard that it is Direct Buy. Have told the rep several times to remove me from calling list but they still call a many times a day. Considering contacting my phone carrier and reporting them for harassing me.

I signed up for their $50K makeover contest.  I work evenings.  My husband answers the phone and the caller refuses to give him any information and is exceptionally evasive and rude.  When I called back got the continual busy signal.  Figured out who it was by googling the number and came up with this web site.

This number 717-394-7257 called my cell asking for my fiance, womans name was Nicole, when I asked what it was in reference to she got very ignorant and rude!!! I hung up on her then she called back about 10 mins later and asked for me, and i told her that she just called me and got very rude with me, she got upset and hung up. There is another Phone # 717-509-8092 for the lancaster pa direct buy store, i called it and got a mesage machine. So i left a nice firm mesage.
These people and this place DIRECT BUY IS A JOKE!!!!!!
