this same number came up and I actually answered the call. I ususally dont. He rattled off some crap about verifying information. He was talking so fast and  robotic....i just hung up.
God, the pathetic people who have to resort to these annoying positions. Not even a JOB....just a chair and desk and phone and an annoying call to many who do work for a living.

I have been seeing this # on my caller ID at work for several days now, they call after I leave.  No message.  I called it this morning and I got a message about renewing subscriptions to a newsletter/magazine.  Very different from what everyone else has been reporting.  It gave me the option of being on their no call list.

Multiple calls in a day, nobody talks on the line.

Received call from 717-484-8014 at work (government office) answered using standard answer "Good afternoon <agency name>, this is <my name>." Caller immediately hung up...

I guess they don't want to deal with a real government agency :-)

The number keeps calling but no one is there when I pick up.  Called for the past 3 weeks!

"Shane Watson" strikes again ... man with indian accent called an elderly female relative and claimed to be from state department.  This time he called from 845-842-2014.

They threatened me saying I will be arrested in few hours, It has been weeks now. Please do not give out any of your personal Info to them. If they call just curse them off. they won't call you again.

If you really want to pay back and make his life miserable, call him every 5-10 minutes protecting your identity. Dial*671 followed by his number and your number will appear as private. Use choicest word, anything and everything you want to say. I called him multiple times today whenever I got some time. He is a Gujarati guy and says this is business, looks like 4-5 people work there full time. He is hiding some where in India and may be corrupt system is protecting him there. If hundreds of people will call him multiple times in a day, he won't be able to handle incoming call traffic and feel fustrated.

we got the same threatening call from person David Carter about identity check, criminal check ete. heavy east cost accent. A criminal or a jerk. Some one need to investigate this number and the caller.

The Person called from phone # 717-484-8014 named himself David Carter and left a voice message on my home phone about 2 week ago. He again called from the same # day before yesterday. He introduced himself as an Officer from the Investigating Agency but did not gave the specific name of the Agency. He started threatening me that some Criminal Complain was filed against me and the investigation is going on. He wanted me to verify certain personal information like my address, SS # etc. but I did not respond and ask him to prove that he is a genuine Officer. He got mad started using bad language so I became sure that it was a scam. I suggest to file a complain with the Fedral Trade Commission on 1-877-382-4357 and also file complain with the State Attorney's Office and the local Police.

I received the phone call on March 8th and it was in VM from Officer John Wright. In VM he said that I have 3 crimial judgement against me and police is going to arrest me if i did not call him back.

I did not call him back yet and after reading the commects I am not going to call him back.

I got a call this morning from an officer Williams sounding very south asian. Got scared the first 5 minutes, then knew it was a hoax. Informed local police, this has to stop

Call him by protecting your identity. *671 followed by his number. Dial multiple times to actually get him . Use your choicest words anything and everything bad which comes to your mind. Like kareena kaput I'm jab we met.

My parents just received a call today from this number and threatened my father to send $2500 or the police will come and arrest him due to federal tax fraud! My father asked to speak to their lawyer and they had a man come on the phone impersonating a lawyer. My father also said that he has difficulty understanding English and they then had a woman come on the phone and spoke in our native language Gujarati (Indian language). Please be aware of this phone call, they are very cunning and threatening! Hang up and call the police. My father is making a police report today!

If you get a call from either of these number,don't give any personal info. Call him Maderchod, he will hung up. I did it today. Dial *671 followed by his number using your cell phone. He won't be able to see your number. I did it today. Enjoyed it.

This caller is definitely Indian. When he calls any one, address him as Mr. Maderchod. Block his number too.

When they call, tell him that he is Maderchod and he will hung up

It was a panic. The authorities always give a toll free number that is the first clue, Next there is never a mail box full, that is the second clue. thick accent is the third clue that this call is not real.

I hope FBI or other authorities take note. I will try to report to FBI

My wife got the call in the morning and was scared when the caller threatened to arrest. We called police and gave this number to the police. Police asked us to block this number. this is a scam. Do not share any info.

My brother got a call which left a message that they had a legal action against him and that a police officer was speaking. He threatened him that they will take away his passport and citizenship etc.

I had it figured out the the caller was a scam artist to squeeze money form elderly in some way.  (My brother is in 70's)  So, I called them back just to find out more about them and give them a hard time.

First they wanted my name and phone number before they would talk to me.  I some how got to a so called imposter officer Watson.  When he asked me name I gave him some fake name.  I acted as if I was scared by their message and needed help.  I had hidden my caller ID.  (Hint if you call these scammers, hide or caller id.  Dial *67-1-717-484-8014 from a cell phone or dial *81-1-717-484-8014 from a land line to hide your caller ID)  So, he asked me my home phone number and said he would call me back at that number.  When I refused to give him the phone number, he said in that case, he will start the procedure to take away my passport and citizenship.

I wanted to just play with him at this point.  So, I asked how is he going to take away may passport?  Is he going to come and break down may door and take the passport from my house?  He replied, "it depends on me."  I jerked his chain once more: What would he do if I keep my passport in a bank safe?  Will he break the safe deposit vault to get my passport?

By this time, he figured out that I was just jerking his chain.  So, he said just get lost and hung up the phone.

I think, we should all keep calling this jerks and play with them, frustrate them and ruin their days...  If you do call them and jerk their chains, please hide your caller ID as described above.

I believe that it is an Indian gang located in a sweatshop call center in India, calling and threatening people to squeeze money out from the gullible and weak people.

I received call from same number and telling us that they have arrest warrant for not paying tax, confirmed with IRS that no due taxes. After 5 minutes of phone communication, they hang up lines.

I got same call from officer rick williams .first I got scared but google the phone no. and endup here.I can't imagine people really try to make money like this and I bet they r idiots and shamefully INDIAN.And theg r targeting Asians. Totally prank.

I received a call form Mr. Ron Davis about a week ago and the same story as most of you have posted, about threats to my husband. When questioned the reason for the call, same bad language.  I reported this incidence to our local police department. The police officer called these people and had a talk with them. Since then I have not received any phone calls at home but they are calling my husbands work and harassing us.  Please can sombody let me know how to stop this and punish these people?

Yea i talk to this Justin Black and Allan his supervisor. It was scary at first but he gave few hints that prove it as a scam call. Gave this number to local police station. Glad i didnt share any personal info with these people.

We got call asking us to pick up laundry,pay for grocery I bought last week. Threatening to report IRS for not paying taxes and some other criminal violations,they call me all kind of names, definitely gujartis.

I don't know, how these things happen in such a secured place like USA. It is a harrasment and we need to take action. We had a patinent  in our house and got scared with this call. Thanks to google. How do I report and where. We need to save others

Got a call from "Officer Watson" with the same strange hybrid accent someone previously reported (Indian/Latino/Crook) about a crime investigation. I didn't give him any information. How do we report this crook to the authorities?
BTW, caller ID said "Reinholds PA"

I got call today from phone number 717-484-8014 ( caller id shows REINHOLDS PA) and the person said I didn't pay taxes and he has arrest warrant to arrest me. He asked me to settle case out of court. I said there are no pending tax dues from me and IRS can't arrest me if I don't pay taxes. There is no notice from IRS for me. He said he is going to arrest me in 1 hour. I said go and do it and I am going to call 911 right  now.

I just want to give information if you get this kind of call. IRS can't arrest without IRS audit notice to you. At the most if you don't respond to their notice they can ask you to appear in court. We can't settle matter out of court like this kind of people.
