Got another call with no one there.  I *69ed the call.  Pennsylvania Gas and Electric answers.  given the way they call, I sure wouldn't want to depend on them for my energy supply

Have been calling me several times.  I call back and do not get an answer. However, one time (today) I did get answer.  They claimed they were from Pa Gas & Electric and wanted to give me a rebate. I demanded to talk to a supervisor.  I got another person (supervisor) who ID himself as Ellis Bailey.  I told them I do not want to receive any more calls.  The phone is identified as Chambersburg, Pa on my caller ID.  I did not have Pa Gas & Electric as a utility.  It has to be a scam, but not a very good one.  Only for the stupid.

this is a telemarketing place for Pennsylvania Gas and Electric , I have asked them to put me on their do not call list 10 times now and they still keep calling going to report them for I am on the National do not call list and should not be getting any telemarketing calls at all..

I keep getting a call from that 7174960466, but I do not answer.  I cannot identify that number, so that is why I do not answer.

Calls me one or two times a day. I call back and just get beeps. Block this call and put the guy in jail

This number (7174960466) has been calling my house 4 or 5 times a day. I pick up theres 2 deeps then it hangs up.

I keep getting calls from this number.  I am not in debt so it is not from a collection agency.  Tried to call back but the phone wont ring through.  I want them to stop calling!

I get these messages too. Tried to block using CenuryLink but they will not allow this number to be blocked. I have 6 of 10 numbers blocked so far... I am running out. There are too many of these jerks. I have a "new" unpublished number- 7 months old and I have blocked 6 already?, How did so many morons get my number? I think the utilities must provide my number to allow competition... very frstrating. I am a private guy and just want to be left alone. That is my right. As well, no-one can use my private service and privae equipment for commercial use by federal law. So why is this allowed?

I work until 10 pm and the phone at the office rings.  The caller ID shows 717-496-0466 which is actually in my area code.  You answer there is silence and then if you wait you will here 2 beeps and it disconnects.

I also get the same. No one says anything call back its silent. Any idea who this is?

Get 4 to 5 calles a day from this number call backs to it get no rings and no one answers period.. If I only was a terrorist I would take care of this caller But im not so Ill get a lawyer I getting tired of these calls

Harassing phone calls. Multiple times a day

I get a call from this number every morning and sometimes several times a day.
I've no idea who is behind these repeat calls, but can't be good.  Block this caller!

My phone has a "call block" feature.  And believe me I use and these idiots still call but it's blocked (I have caller ID & can see "call blocked")  Love it.  If your phone doesn't have the feature, check the front of your phone book or call your phone carrier.  Good luck.

How do I block this number. It's getting really annoying

Keep getting calls also. And disconnected when I try to call back. I have never spoken to anyone as i usually don't answer calls that I don't recognize the number but just today i decided to google the number & glad i did as I see many people are having same problem. No idea how they got my cell #.

Receiving calls from this #. No one talks when we answer. Called back & it doesn't ring; just appears to be answered but no one says hello or responds to our hello. What's up with this?

Classic utility slammer behavior.  However, you need to report them to your state's public utility commission.  There isn't much people here can do for you.

SOME ONE FROM THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING THE ONE TIME I ANSWERED TO FIND OUT WHO WAS CALLING TOLD ME THEY WERE FROM PENN. ELECT ANS GAS ASKED ME IF I NEW THERE WAS A 12% REBATE FROM THE ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR USING A DIFFERENT PROVIDER ASK FOR INFO ON MY BILL WHEN I TOLD THEM I DIDN'T HAVE MY BILL WITH ME THEY HUNG UP. They really need to stop calling my number. Catch them and make them stop.

The danger is giving them your customer number is your caller may call your utility and switch your account to their scamming company behind your back.

This number calls us 5 x per day...not answering it

They will ask for your customer number from your utility bill.  And they tell you that they will give you a credit for 15% of your highest bill you've paid.   I kept drilling the person with questions and the person on the other end was getting angry with me?!  I wanted to know why they would pay you for nothing and finally he said that nothing will change except the bill will say PA Gas and Electric.  This number calls several times a day and I've asked them to put me on the Do Not Call again. The last girl that contacted me just started laughing and saying that they will keep calling.  

I contacted PA Gas and Electric and they know nothing about these calls.

They call me up to 10x a day. The one time I did answer they said the wanted to speak to the met Ed account holder. I told them if they were truly from met Ed they'd know the account holder associated with the number they called. They hung up. They still continue to call. Definitely spammers

This number is local to me and calls a few times a day. At first it is silent, but if you wait a minute someone will say hello. I think that is because a computer calls it out, and if anyone answers it connects you to a person. They say they are the electric company and want to speak to the person who pays the electric bill. They want you to convert your service. I hung up the first time and the last few times yell and then hang up. If you let them talk they will ask to see your electric bill. Im sure they dont leave VM's and you cant call back becuase it is an automated dialing system.

We are no longer receiving calls from the number he is calling. This company tried to get us this summer. Thanks for the update. This is a very useful service.
