The call I recieved from this number was some lady who would not tell me anymore than that were a company, and that I owed them $112.72, that was supposedly from a bill still due from 8 years ago.  When I asked her to send me documentation on this bill she claims I owe, I was told she would send me nothing.  I told her she was nuts.  I would send her NO money without proof that I owed someone.  Then I was threatened with having my credit smeared for 7-10 years.  Then was told she wasn't listening to me "vent" as I wanted answers to who and what this was all about.  I called the BBB and reported it.

I keep getting a call from this number but they will not leave a message.

Received a call from 717-509-4617 saying I needed to get on my computer right away that it was crashing and they were calling from Microsoft to help me correct the issue. I said I could not do that right now and they asked if they could call me back. It sounded like someone from the middle east. Called
Microsoft and they did not call.  Sounds like some kind of identity scam.

I'm also getting called from this number. Before they started calling me, some guy from 828-226-8676 called asking for a Jose. I don't know if they're connected. And before THAT, I think someone was trying to call me from Guatemala. The number was 502-519-48784. They're calling me at 11:30 at night.

Received a call from this number requesting that they be able to confirm information for a website domain name that I'm registered with. I told them where they could go.

I just got a call from this same number on Aug 6 2008 at 2:51pm.

Received three calls from this #.  Silence at other end.  I will not give information if asked.

I had this phone number call me for the first time today.  It is local to me so I answered it even though I don't normally answer calls I don't know.  It was some very foreign guy telling me that he was calling from my pharmacy and wanted to give me a refill.  Yeah, okay.  I hung up on him.  How ridiculous.

For the past several months both my business and home phone have been telephone call from 509-4617.  They call numerous times a day.  They don't say anthing.  The other end is silent.  Not even a hang-up noise.  Each time a call the number back it just beeps.  Also when people call into my office line 509-4617 comes across my caller ID instead of the correct caller.

I just got a call from this number, too. No one was on the other end when I answered. Interesting.   We are also on the "Do Not Call" list.

When I called my mom from a calling card 717-509-4617 came up as the number. Hope that helps!

I got called twice by this number with no answer. I tried calling back and it's disconnected or something. Has anyone else signed up for anything online recently? I'm trying to find a cause of this.

I answered and got a hispanic(?) woman saying my husband requested information on health insurance.  Yeah...right lady! (He's a teacher) Then she asked if anyone in my family was diabetic, I said no and hung up.  I'm sure she was fishing for info and have reported the number to the National Do No call registry.

Got this call a short time ago, even though I'm on the Do Not Call list. I tried to call it back, but got a message from Verizon that the call could not be completed. I'm reporting it to the FCC.

Over the past 4 days, I've had calls from this number, no recording, no sound, but it's not a hang up.  Just silence on the other end.

I just got a call from this number and it was definitely some kind of scam, the woman asked for my husband and wouldn't so where she was from....when I tried calling it back, it gives a busy signal.  We don't have caller ID, so I hit *69 and this is the number I was given.

Ignore them check your caller ID if you see the number coming up just don't answer.717-509-4617 I never take calls unless I recognize the number of who is calling. More than likely eventually they will stop calling.Don't be intimidated by people like this.They are ignorant pushy people.Don't let them get away with it

funny they just called me 8-14-08 @ 5.26 p. m. and had my info last four of my social and told me i owed them money i said never heard of you and hung up

I got a call from this number at 1:27 AM and they told me that i would get shot and then i freaked out and hung up! I am scared!

I am also getting this from callers.  I have friends calling from Kirkwood and this number comes up.  I called the phone company to report it, and I was told it is in the "relay" stations, and not their problem.  Whoever is calling must call their phone company as the problem is there.  Odd if you ask me.  I did request that Frontier look into the problem, and they said they would.  Strange it is coming up from so many different areas.  Though I did not hear from that "company" again demanding money.

A friend in Canada called me but the caller ID showed as this number. I tried calling the number to inquire why that might have happened but only get a busy signal.

This number called me while I was at work and didn't leave a message. Whats strange about this is that the number it called isn't even a real phone line! It's my AIM Phoneline that rings on my computer.

I have received 4 calls today 5/7/08 from this number.  I call back and it's always busy.  This should be reported to law enforcement authorities.  It is definitely illegal to call someone so many times in a row.  It ties up my business line and may even cost me business.

This idiot's company calls with a recording (which is illegal because it is an unsolicited call) with an offer to get a cash advance for our business.  When I questioned him about his company and told him that his business practices were illegal, he wouldnt give me his company information, except to say his company is Max Advance. When asked for his company's address, he started to give me MY address.  DO NOT do business with this company.  They are surely fraudulent.

In the last two days have had 6 calls from this number

they did the same to me and if i try to call back it does the simpsons episode where they get 2 area codes and it makes that funny noise yea it does that

They hung up as son as the call goes to my voice mail.
