Said this is not a sales call it is an important matter so I didn't answer it and erased it and it's on my list on phone that it is a scam number.

RIGHT THEN,I SAID,"  NO OH NO AND THE LADY HUNG UP...SO LATER I CALLED NUMBER ON MY ID AND ASKED THE GIRL WHO THEY WERE?"   GIRL SAID,"MISSING PERSON,IS THIS FRANCISCA?"...WITH A NO I HUNG UP.

WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS HOW DID THEY GET MY NUMBER WHICH  WAS CHANGED TO UNLISTED TWO MONTHS AGO?...

i had a call from apex in regards a personal matter, they asked for DOB which i did not have any problem providing i mean come on i am pretty sure there are millions of people with the same DOB, turned out i had a balance from my drs office that i did not know about GUESS WHAT? i payed the balance and GUESS WHATELSE? the calls stopped! people maybe yous should pay your outstanding bills and stopped thinking they are going to steal you identity with your DOB smh

They just called me. "Sonya" asked to speak with me using my maiden name saying it was about a personal matter. I asked about what and she wanted to confirm it was me...I got pist and told her to go bleep herself.

Received a call from (717) 519-1770 Lancaster, PA around 11 AM on a Wednesday. The guy wasn't rude, but said the nature of the call was to go over a "personal matter," and asked for my birthdate to verify my identity. I told him that I don't divulge that kind of info over incoming phone calls and I asked him to send me an e-mail. He said that they are not able to email from their location. So I told him that we are at an impasse because I do not divulge personal information over incoming phone calls. To which he replied, "Well, we sent out a letter to you, so be on the lookout for that."

DO NOT CALL MY CELL PHONE AGAIN.  I HAVE NO IDEA WHO APEX IS.  

They are ignorant, rude people. It was obvious they were looking for a relative with the same nume, the person even said she knew it wasn't me.  When I attempted to give them contact information, she became rude.  There shoukd be something that can be done to a'holes like these people.

They will hang up without verification yes, your date of birth and ssn are on file but just because you say you are that person doesn't mean you are, any body could say that, its called protecting your identity and is a federal law so rather than sit on the phone and argue with a debtor they hang up

this number calls my phone like crazy.. I called back.. This lady Sonia answers the phone. So i tell her that they have been calling like crazy And i would like to know why. She asked me for the number, fine i gave ur to her. Then she asked me for all my information i said i would like to know for what first. She said you need to give me your info first very mean. I said sorry miss but i don't have too give you anything if you don't tell me what's it about. She said you now what bye.. Very disrespectful

I too have been getting a call from thos so called "Jim Taylor" every Tuesday and Wednesday for the past month. They didn't leave voice mail after the first call and I don't answer the phone for numbers I don't recognize (for this purpose exactly). After the second call I answered. I asked this Jim Taylor some questions and the only response he would give me was that it was about a "very important personal business matter". Also, he then asked me for my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER amd said it was needed to collect this so called "debt". HAHAHA I DON'T THINK SO.
This is clearly some lame attempt at a scam and I feel bad for the little old ladies who are so trusting wjen they answer that phone.
Mind you, I'm only 23. I don't have any personal business matters, and I certainly don't have any debt other than student loans.

I received a telephone call from this number also.  They started out by asking me to identify my date of birth which I would not do and asked what kind of company they were which the woman refused to answer and said they had sent me a letter earlier in the ,month explaining who they are.  Told her I do not recall receiving that and would not give her any information and we hung up very politely.

This company Apex keeps calling me and leaving messages. I have no idea who they are. I have no idea how they got my cell #. Please help.

There was never anyone named April working for Apex, so either your a lowlife welfare recipiant with way too many kids and trying to cheat the government or you just sucked as an employee (in all aspects) and was FIRED!! My guess is probably both!

I received a call from this number today and some asian woman stated she was wanting the last 4 digits of my social so she could verify my address which was the wrong address she was telling me..a address i never lived at EVER..so i politely told her i dont know who you are and i dont give out my social to anyone over the phone.Well then she got a attitude with me and said something like then i guess we'll never get this resolved..and i responded i guess not and she hung up..

This phone # keeps calling me and does identify themselves as Apex Asset Management on voicemail and tey wish to speak with me about a personal matter.  I, too, do not owe any money to anyone!  They call about once a week

Well if they were sick, most likely, financially they are suffering too.  What if they were out of work because of illness?  I went to the ER one night and the bill came to $36,000. My insurance wasn't that great and my share was $6,000.  I paid everyone as timely and best I could but I am still paying on bills that showed up to me one whole year after the incident.  Will this ever stop!  I dealt with Apex.  Yes, the calls were annoying and frequent.  When I finally received my income tax return I took care of the balance (Jan, 2013)  Last night I checked my credit report and found an Apex Management collection notice on my credit report in the amount of $28.00.  I don't know what this is for, since I paid them everything.  Now  I have to try to remedy.  A friend told me to go to www.creditkarma.com and check my credit report for free since I am trying to purchase a car this year.  I am glad I did, because this would have sat there forever without my knowledge.  I do not get any calls from them nor any invoices, so why is a balance showing up on my report?

I worked for Apex assets in lancaster.  It is a horrible place to be employed. Unfair treatment, along with cover ups of situations and now im finding out illegal transactions. The president is shady and can not be trusted.
Your paycheck is never the same amount, and they deduct money from your check for health insurance which you do not even have. Relieved to be away from people who are dishonest and corrupt.

I checked my credit report. I have nothing I owe. Everything is paid off and i only have 1 credit card which i owe nothing on. So why do you think this number would be calling me?

You better check & make sure your sons' social security number has not been somehow stolen & used.

I called 717-519-1770 and asked who they were looking for.  They gave me the name of the person (who doesn't work here) and very nicely removed my number since it wasn't me they were looking for.

I contacted the company on my own gave them my name they told me i owed on a couple  accounts mostly medical and one municipal. after hearing the list i realized i have already taken care of one myself so i called the debtor and got a paid in full receipt they removed that one from my list and allowed me to set up payment arrangements for the rest. they didn't harass me but thats probally because i contacted them but everything they said i owed i did at one point in time owe. or because a lot of people complained all i gave them was my name i paid them cash at their office.

if you use the so called internet " wecollect@apexasset.com" link they talk about here on this site that says they ARE a medical collection company, they're full of s***.... use it & see that there is no such address either when you type it into your browser... so there ya go... one lie on top of the other, I don't understand why they go thru so much trouble to try to fool the average call, but they told me that since I demanded to know what it was other then a "personal matter" & refused to give them any info, they said they would send something in the mail... I WON'T hold my breath for that either.....

I just received a call from them for my 3 year old son and when I said He was 3 and I was his mom she said she would look into but couldn't give me any details I asked to speak to a supervisor and she hung up on me so I called back till someone put me through to a voicemail if I don't hear back today tomorrow I will call back repeatedly till I get answers!!

I keep getting a call from this 7171-519-1770... Its Apex Mgmt..  they've called me about 10 times in the past hour & when I pick up they hang up. i called back to tell them to stop calling me & they have a voice mail activated & it said the mailbox was full
