They call me at 5am!!

Phone just rang, answered on first ring and it hung up on me. Called it back and someone said "Thanks for calling back! This call will be recorded...this is the state police fund". I quickly disrupted him and said to take my number off his list. He said his intent was not to be a burden...then I told him again I wanted remove and never call again. He said ok, I hung up

have also received numerous calls from this number. how do you block a number on your landline? tx

Just received the call from this number: 717-685-0064. Picked up and nobody was on the line. Called the number back - after a short second a life voice said hello - : asked him why did I receive the call from this number? He was quiet for a second and announced that he is with the police association and our call will be monitored, is this ok with me? Said ok then - Well, I don't think he smoked that I had to tell him, also told him not to call again. We'll see if this number will be used again to ring my number. Do not call list is for the birds also.

They can still legally call you, so it's up to you to block them.  I do.

My experience was the same.

Wants permission to record call. Claims to be from the Chiefs of Police Association. Just kicked off their fundraiser. Gives the name Eric Lauer. No name on the caller ID.

How annoying, they call, let the answering machine pick it up and then hang up!! Who is this????

I called the number back.  A woman answered and said "thanks for calling back... this is the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association."   They're looking for a monetary donation, of course!

Just recieved a call from 717-685-0064 and said they were a fundraiser for the police department.  

Asked which one, they said the state police dept...so I said goodby.

I don't give money over the phone to fundraisers......only those I know and have contributed before.

I just got this call as well...got the same message as JTW. Call came in around 4:04 est.

I said "hello" several times and a man's recorded voice asked if I was "perfectly comfortable donating $20" then disconnected...

Ditto. About  2:54 PM.  Hung up without listing to message.

Got a call from this number @ 2:10 pm today, asking for a donation to the PA Police Chief's fund (or something like that).

received a call from this # didnt pick up in time no message was left

just got a call too and did a search on the number and my order was immediately put on hold. it is a landline so I think we should spread the word to have everyone we know call the number continously day and night and maybe they will stop calling us.

Phone rang 4 times, before I could get to it went to answering machine, did not leave message. I called it back and it went right to some kind of music, so I hung up. No idea who it is or what they wanted!!!  #717-685-0064

This number called early in the morning,   no one on the line and no message.  I don't know anyone in Annville PA   as that is where the call came from.  We are also on the Do Not Call List,  so why are we still getting these annoying calls???

I got a call from this number this afternoon, I let the answering machine get it, no message. I have been receiving a lot of unwanted calls lately.

Called the number back, heard some sort of music.  Then a recording came on and asked if I wanted to be placed on the do not call list.  The message ended and another recorded voice stated the message system could not accept any more messages.
Don't know who it was or what they wanted.

calls my phone and i answer nothing there i call it back it goes to somesort of mail box that says its full

Got a call today, August 22, 2012.  I answered no immediate response.  If you are anybody needing anything important on a phone call you are making, you WILL respond when someone answers...I got complete silence.  I only say hello once, answer or get hung up on!  I am on the do not call list and will be reporting momentarily.

For some reason when I posted this under this number before it went to the wrong place...go figure.
