3 calls during shift to my work provided cell phone which i have never given out. no answer to return calls.

It is Appleby Systems- wanting to schedule a time to offer a free estimate for windows and door. They received my information through a charity raffle at Walmart in York, PA.

Did you happen to enter any "free give aways" recently? Particularly at a Walmart?

yes it is Appelby, they are very obnoxious people, I have them calling me from multiple numbers and when I did pick up the phone and told the woman about it, she pretended that she had no idea what I was talking about. Another number calling, she did not understand what I meant.

I keep getting calls, too, but they never leave a message.  They've called twice so far in less than 24 hours.

I do not know this number other than it is a number from PA. I want the calls to stop and I do not know what else to do. I have had similar numbers calling my house number and leaving so answer.

Applebee Windows called me twice yesterday also.  I think this number is a cell number because I was pocket dialed and the conversation that recorded in my voicemail was NOT professional at all.  I will give them one thing....they do not give up!!!

I am getting lots of calls. I called the number and it was for Appleby Systems in PA not  Sherm Whitfield (from called id information.)

If you tell them that you rent your house, they won't call you any more.

they keep calling several times a day.  between them and the health insurance companies I have to sneak in my calls just to get things done.  it appears to be that low grade window maker Appleby.  Thanks a bunch!

If a number is calling you and you don't know who it is, common thought would tell me to answer it and find out who and why they're calling!

They have been calling me numerous times everyday. 4-6 times a day. This is ridiculous. Sad thing is, I NEVER filled out a form....I do work in a place where they have people working to get people to fill out forms. I wonder if one of those people put my name in cause they needed forms to meet their quota. THIS SUCKS BIG TIME!!! I am reporting them if they don't stop. Now that I know who it is, I will answer the next time and tell them to take my name off of their list! If they don't I will report them to the BBB.

Wake up, guys and girls:  when you request information by filling out a form in a store, online, or by calling in from a TV commercial, being on the DNC list *no longer matters*, regardless of the number you provide (although most people give both numbers, and just forget).  In fact, filling out a release form such as that signals interest and actually allows you to be contacted for one year, at no penalty; to clarify, that's three hundred and sixty five days.  So, the reason you're getting these calls is because you, your spouse, or someone else who lives with you requested them (woah, it's not a random solicitation!), and what you're missing out on is potentially winning tens of thousands of dollars in home improvements (it really does happen, it is *not* a ruse) or a no cost consultation and estimate on the product of your choice which you probably do want, but maybe just forgot about.  So, pick up!  You will not only end the calls by doing this, which works for you, and is polite to them, but you will get a chance to learn about something you most likely need and want, and perhaps even win it or get it at a fraction of the usual cost.

i do not want to be called anymore

I entered this contest for free windows, etc. while I was in Kmart Wednesday.  On Thursday they called my home number twice.  What gets me is that the number I put on the entry form was my work number!!!!  My home number is on the DO NOT CALL registry so they never should have called it, especially because I did not give it to them!  They need to be reported for doing this.

What's even crazier is that you probably gave them your number(s) b/c you entered a contest to win free windows/patio/bathroom makeover!

This phone number belongs to Appleby - the window, door, patio room people.  If you call the number back that is who will answer!  I know... rocket science is tough!

This stupid number first calls my cell then calls the house number, never leaves a message and won't stop.  Anyone know who it belongs to?
