Everyone - SUBMIT a complaint stating that this guy is changing his story with each phone call and asking for your credit card number.  Be sure to state these details and submit them to the FCC along with the caller's phone number at:

If each person submits a complaint, it should peak the FCC's interest at about 20-50 complaints, so make sure you fill this out each time and see this phone scammer/annoyance disappear forever and be caused GRIEF of his own!

This number calls my house so many times in one day, that I have lost track on how many times. I have answered the phone, and nobody talks, just hangs up.I guess they can tell by the sound of my voice that they are going to be yelled at. If I dont answer they dont leave a voicemail. Now I started anwering with a whistle. When I pick the phone up, I start blowing it. They still call, but not as much. They have called my house as early as 7:58, and as late as 8:59. They are really pushing it. This has to stop.

These A holes won't stop calling. I told them to put me on the do not call list and they called me again 20 mins later. What a bunch of worthless peices of trash.

They conned my 87 year old mother into switching and when she tried to switch back to Duquesne Light  they told her she would have to pay $350.00 switch fee. I raised hell but she still got the bill sent to a collection agency because I refused to pay it or let her pay it. The collection company threatened her with adversely affecting her credit rating. Mom said she didn't care if they put it in her credit rating, she's 87 and what could they do to her and nobody would give her credit at her age anyway. They never called her back. Now GAP wants ME to use them? No way!

Keep getting calls at all times of the day from 7177934025. Morning and night they call and don't leave a message on voicemail. My daughter picked up the last time around 7:30 pm, and the person asked for me by my first name.She told them "wrong number " because we know no one from York Pa.
They kept going on and on, but she hung up anyway. These people call all day and night,and hang up without leaving a message.

Getting calls from 717-793-4025. Have received 2 calls in 15 min this morning, answered both times, the phone beeped in my ear and they hung up... Have tried to call back twice to be removed but no answer.

Received a call on my cell.  No one was there when I answered.  I had been contacted once before from the number regarding switching power companies from Duquesne Light.

These companies have been given permission to harass.  It's ridiculous.  Be as rude as hell so their employees quit.  Call back the number and ask to be taken off the list.

I got a call from this "Great American Power" company last week. I asked the guy if he was trying to sell me something, and he said no. Then he claimed he was calling to let me know about a discount from Duquesne Light that I wasn't taking advantage of. I asked if he was trying to get me to switch from Duquesne Light to this power company. He said yes. Isn't that like trying to sell me something? I wouldn't put it that way, he said. End of conversation. They just called back, but I guess I didn't say "hello" soon enough or loud enough to trigger their machine. I called them back and explained my annoyance at the previous phone call, and further annoyance at not being removed from their call list, and then asked to now be removed from their call list. They had already hung up on me. Now I have to take the time to lodge a complaint with the PUC.

Power Company.  Called them back, a guy picked up and said "Great American Power how can I help you?"  They're trying to get you to switch power companies.

got a call. no message left.. i call the number and they answered something like great american ____. i don't why they called.

got a phone call from this number... they didnt leave a message on my answering machine

Received twelve (12) phone calls from 717-793-4025 between the dates of 10/12/2011 thru 10/20/2011.  No message left on my answering machine, so I have no further information.
A web site described this number as coming from a collection agency.
Since no message was left, not sure why 12-calls within 8-days.
