This number is being used to scam people's credit cards.

The "thieves" at this number are just that, scamming, stealing, losers.  I have reported them for fraud and demanded my $11 back.  They are foreign and I do not believe they are in the USA.  They need to be "taken down"!

Found the same bogus $11 charge to Blacklace Design on an American Express bill dated 2/2/10 for a charge on 1/14/10. Reported as fraud to both Amex and the FTC.

I did not receive this call but I got the charge on my Visa card that came with Blacklace Design followed by the 717-798-8238 number and a PA (Pennsylvania?). They also charged me 11.00


I have contacted my bank about filing a fraud claim as well as changing my account information.

I also had a charge listed from PENNLOGODESIGN 717-7988238 PA.  They charged me $11 on January 12, 2010.  I Googled this "PENNLOGODESIGN 717-7988238 PA" and found this sight.  Thank you 800notes.com to show me that I need not look any further to find out what this charge was about.  I immediately called Chase Visa & they will credit my account. They will notify the person/company that made this charge. Visa stated the charge was made without any verification of the back of the card.  So it appears they got my account number but not that verifying number at the back of my card.  Either way this is SCARY knowing someone is out there doing this.  Maybe they feel these $10-20 charges no one will research?  NOT ME, I CHECK EVERY CHARGE MADE TO MY ACCOUNT UPON RECEIPT OF THE STATEMENT!!!!

Blacklace Design just popped me for a $12.00 charge on my Bank of America card.  I had BOA check and the company came up with a Philippines(as in country)address!!  This is obviously a scam.  BOA took the charge off of my account right away!!  Take care!!

I just noticed a debit transaction on my account from Blacklace Design in Harrisburg PA for $12. Went to Whitepages.com to see who they were and their phone number from my statement (717 798-8238) came up as unpublished(?)but showed the Harrisburg PA loction. I googled Blacklace and the phone# and found this website! I'll be calling my credit union tomorrow. Thx for the previous posts about this place.

A $12.00 charge appeared on my cc on 1/19/2010 from PENNLOGODESIGN 717-798-8238.  Calling the number gets an answering machine.  I'm disputing the charge and immediately had my cc closed and new card/number reissued, but that doesn't do much to increase my confidence in ccs.  It's one of the reasons why I only use one card.

My charge was for $11 from PennLogoDesign.
I have a BofA Visa.
This happened end of December.
The fraud dept at cc company wanted ME to call the BOGUS Company and confront them - ask them where they got my cc number - I said I was NOT going to give them my cc # over the phone and certainly don't want to leave my name and number with these scammers.

I had to demand a new cc from the customer service dept. because the fraud dept. said it wouldn't make any difference to change the cc # because the charge would just go on ("roll over to") the new cc !!!!! HUH ?

Got dinged $11 on my BofA Visa card.
PennLogoDesign was the name of the company.
Also go by BlackLaceDesign.
Reported the fraud to the cc company.
Can't figure out how they got my cc number.
Only order online at Amazon and a couple of other established businesses.

Never got a call but on 1/8/10 a bogus charge for $11.00 showed up on my Visa debit/credit card.  Never ordered anything from Blacklace Design.  Have reported it to my credit union who will file the fraud report with Visa and remove the charge.

I got the charges on my card & have never used priceline, so probably not them. Does anybody use Banfield Pet Hospitals. Wondering if thats where they got mine. I don't use the card for much eles than the monthly dues on their wellness plan. Called Chase & they were good, they took the charges off, canceled the account & sent me a new card. if you have a debit card it is much more difficult to deal with.

I did not order anything from these people and yet there has been a charge from them on my Visa card.

another bogus CC charge from this number to my acct. does anyone know where they got the info? who were your previous charges to? should i worry about priceline.com? just want to know if anyone got more info/help from their CC company than I did from chase.

$12.00 charge on 1/12 from Blacklace Design. PA number. I tried to call it but only got the answering machine. I called my bank and they refunded the charge. They are going to investigate. I told them about this site and the number of people with the same complaint.

I have an $11 charge pending from Penn Logo Design in Harrisburg on my Bank of America debit card. Again, this must me phishing because I did no business with these people and live in Florida.

I received a call from PNC/National City that there was a suspicious charge on my card from Mr Z's Card and Party for $20.  I told them that I didn't authorize that transaction.  I checked my account and saw that there was another unauthorized charge for $12 from Black Lack Design.  They immediately cancelled the Visa Debit Card and I'll have to wait for another card in about 5 days.  I too am curious as to how they got my card number as I am very cautious about purchases, whether they are in stores or on-line.  I had to fill out a fraud report, which can only be done in person, and they said that both amounts would be charged back to my account.  Actually, the one they called about that was pending, never was charged to my account--only the Black Lace One.  My banker said that it might of been a reputable company with a not so reputable employee that might have given/used the number.  He said that they make small purchases before they try larger ones.  Thanks to all who reported this.  Although this is unfortunate for everyone, it does make be feel better to share the experience with others.

@hskrsrule: I had similar problems with my bank. First they said I had to make the complaint in person, then when I went in, they said I needed to call Blacklace Design first to see what it is for and if they would remove the charge. I tried to explain about how others have the problem and I am absolutely sure I didn't make a purchase, but they would not budge. They kept asking me questions like whether I knew the company or ever did business, etc. I've been with the bank for years and can't believe they aren't providing better assistance with a fraud issue. So much for loyalty to customers. And whatever happened to the rule that you must always call and report a problem as soon as you notice it? I do what I'm supposed to and they act like I'm lying! With my luck, if I call the 717 number, the bank will tell me I must have ordered something since I called them. All this for $12 but I do not want these crooks to get away with it.

BTW, I remember several years ago my bank had a security problem where they changed all web site login information, but never changed our card numbers. I'm wondering if these card numbers are from a list stolen way back then, and maybe they sat on it until enough time had passed that banks wouldn't be watching for problems.

I noticed someone mentioned not being able to do anything when the charge was still pending. That's the opposite of what my bank said for my debit card. They would have preferred that I notify them when it was pending, but that would have been one of the few days at Christmas that I didn't check my account. Clever crooks.

I just got a $12 charge from blacklace designs as well. Thank you for all your helpful info on this because I will be calling my bank on Monday. This is definately a fraud. I am glad I googled it or I probably would have let it just go by.

No call but I have a charge from PENNLOGODESIGN for $13.00, then after answering 20 questions from the BOA lady, she said she would credit my account, but I had to call the 717 phone number and ask how they got my credit card number.  I told her about this site and all the others with BOA cards, but it was like she didnt care, she was persistant that I have to do the investigating, what good is having customer service LOL.

UPDATE: Also had a charge of $20.00 from some bogus outfit called "Triple T Water" that has been in pending stage on my account. Now, that charge has been removed. Don't know if that is a result of my report to the bank or not. Anyway, it's gone!!!

same here $10 from Black Lace. I am just curious how many of us have a BOA credit card. Might be a hacked BOA database????

Another charge just showed up from ZS Car Care $20. In temp right now so CC can not do any thing wit it yet. Hope they (?) find them soon!!!!

I wonder how many that are not listed here have the same problem.
