Have called me on several occasions; when I asked to speak with supervisor to stop calls, they hung up.
If continues will file complaint with PA Attorney General.

This is a forum for people who receive unwanted/spam/scam calls - this site does not control who can call you. What you can do is report them to the FTC and also the DNC list! And PLEASE do not list your phone number (as some people have done before). This will lead to more spam calls.

I keep getting calls from this number. Could you let me know who it is?
| Ann 2013-04-16 20:43:18 Unknown |
This is an obvious brazen rip-off. Isn't there any government agency that's supposed to protect us from these
kinds of con artists who prey on us, especially on the elderly?

Caller asked for information update concerning our son/dau in law--said they had given our number as reference--Not True--wanted us to call back.
Have had this type of call before and with research find it is telemarketer and not legitimate.

They called between 8:00 - 8:15 p.m. when I was putting 2 toddlers to bed. I guess I have to take the phone off the hook every night so that I don't have to deal with these ridiculous calls.

Please stop them from calling.

Message about medical equipment . Said that they wanted to know if they could deliver equipment and it was paid for. It then hung up. I never ordered anything. What is going on.

They called yesterday for the first time from this number, the fifth they have used. Yesterday, there was no message, Today I got the same ole peppy one about how the police and the heart association and the diabetes association all think I should have a medic-alert-type device. These kind folks call themselves Senior Medical Advisory.
I did not listen to the whole message today, but if they are trying to get you to take shipment for a "prepaid" device, then you can be sure they are 1) phishing for your info, and/or 2) setting you up to be automatically billed some hefty amount for monthly "service."
( First they called for two days from 610-263-8736, then they called 3/27 through 4/2 from 412-307-3889, and from 4-3 through 4-5 from 215-687-4824. Starting on April 6 they used 724-364-4111. These are all Pennsylvania numbers. Maybe they are all spoofed, and maybe this outfit spoofs numbers for the state where the callees live, all over the USA.

Recorded message from number 1-717-862-2070 stating words to the effect of "This is (can't remember name) from the shipping department about a 'Life Alert-like' product. It's ready to leave the warehouse and has been already paid for in full. Press '1' to ship or press '5' to cancel."
The call sounds like a real person talking and not a recording. The cowards mention that you may have bought it due to a recent fall or someone purchased it for you. It mentions three times how it is already paid for. The thing speaking uses pauses and a lot of "uhms" like someone would use in normal conversation.
I can see how an elderly or challenged individual could fall for it. It sounds very very real. I received the call two days in a row. I hope they rot in hell.

I see from my call log that they called about 4 this afternoon. Left no message, the caller ID said UNKNOWN. Pests.

Just knocked on my phone with no message. VOIP (phone calls from a computer) can be programmed to display anything for the caller-ID. It's the scam artists dream come true. Best way to beat them is to let the answering machine screen ALL unfamiliar calls. I'm averaging about 10 of these calls every day. There should be some way to track these calls through the IP address of their computer, but they probably fake that too. I hope there's a special place in hell for these clowns.

Call about seniors and medical alert equipment. Pressing "5" will -- hopefully -- put you on their do-not-call list. Whether it does or not, who knows.
Caller ID comes up as: 412130654001225
