I got a voicemail on my home number from this number today stating his name was Andrew smith and he was from a law firm. He said someone filed a complaint against me and he knew my name. He said he knew ssn but didn't say it. He said I need to call back with an attorney.

I got a call from this number today stating that I had an outstanding loan and they were suing me for fraud. I don't know if this is real or not.

...and ANOTHER call similar to dozens of others in the past few years, this one from a gentleman with accent claiming his name was Scott Nicholson (Ni-COLE-son).  He did not introduce himself but went right into insisting on speaking with an employee.  This is a company phone, and we are a corporation with policies, so I asked for his name and his company, and what was the nature of the call.  He became belligerent immediately, wanting to talk to my manager.  I am the manager.  He resisted any questions, stating only that this was a legal matter, and how dare I ask him questions, and who was I, and how long had I been there, and did I pay my taxes, and did I know the law....etc etc.  I had calmly asked several times for information on the nature of the call and explained that any inquiries about our employees must be sent to us in writing...and when the caller did not appear to want to work with me on this I finally hung up.  He called back immediately and was more calm, asking that I relay the message - he left his name and phone number only.

Please send your complaints to http://www.fbi.gov/scams-safety/e-scams. Before they actually take advantage of someone.

yea I just start getting calls from this number, they weren't asking for me specifically but insisted they were. when I stopped answering the calls they left a very negative & nasty voicemail on my cell. any ideas what I should do with this situation??

They are getting our info from public records, espeically bankruptcy.  Ive do not give out my lawyers number because they are phishing to get legit lawyers names and numbers and our info. STUPID SCAMMERS.  Give them bugs bunny as your lawyer

THis guy calls and says he has a complaint against me for an upaid loan.  I dont have any outstanding loans.  i told him i filed bankruptcy.  This is a complete scam....beware

A guy keeps calling looking for someone that is not employed at this number. I keep telling him that there is no one here by that name. This last time challenged me (rudely) to say that she does work there and wanted names of my employees!

This guy called and told me the same thing and I told him the same.  I just ignore the calls when they call my cell phone, but they have started calling me at work.  I need it to stop.  How do I get them to stop calling?

This guy call saying is an investigation company, regarding not paying a us pay loan, I told him I don't have one, he insisted, I told him I was going to report him.  I wonder but he had my works phone # and my Social security #.
