Just got 6 calls in a two hour period when I answered it was a recording for schooling. Finally after true frustration I answered again and advised them I am on the do not call list and looking for a new job not a school I have completed my education I hope this has ended it!

I have suspicions that my information was sold to them by our local community college (CCAC) when I tried to sign my daughter up for an SAT course recently.  The next day the calls started.  And this is the only source that had my daughter's name instead of mine.

yeah just call and tell them to put on do not call list....they are trying to say you applied for furthering your education. when you say no they ask were you looking for a job? I said yes and they asked what job were you looking for and I said one in the industry I am currently in and they were polite and said if you are looking to further your education in future give us a call.....pfft yeah right...I asked please can you put me on the do not call list then for the time being? lol...again they were polite not pushy....it makes me nervous that when you call they answer the phone with your first name "Jennifer?"  who knows these poor people may just work some s*** job that's part of a pyramid scheme and may not even know it.....this world is so crazy now days

they blow up my phone constantly and don't leave a message and it is definitely a landline because you can't text it, I already tried. I will not answer if I don't have you saved in my phone I screen every phone call now even though I am in the job market. I have my resume everywhere right now so this must be how they got my number because it is a pay as you go phone that I switched to because scammers are hacking contract phone information and trying to use it to scam you this also happened to me. Stupid Indians posing as police detectives and attorneys saying you owe money from a payday loan and they have a warrant for your arrest since you broke a contract. I was told multiple times the police would be arresting me the next day do you think any one ever showed up? nope know why you no longer can be arrested for any debts....that's what collection agencies attorneys and judgments are for. Everyone please be careful of these calls I have talked to lots of people and it is happening to everyone. if your cell account is accessible online you are at risk this goes for all cell carriers. Also if you apply for any loans online they'll steal your info that way. these people call your work too. They will tell you your personal info they already have it by the time you get the call so don't feed into this guy. they call family members too to scare them into paying money for you by threatening your arrest....if you get calls warn all family members too...they will leave messages too... I personally called them out on their bs everytime and told them they are running an extortion scam and to please show up at my house to "arrest" me cause once your on my property its self-defense. The nastier you are the more they back off but I went with a pay as you go phone thinking id avoid this bs and now this crap id happening with this 717 number...I am going to threaten harassment lawsuit and ill be back to tell you how it works out....I hate these people.....

There are only two types of people who live in area code 717 - Bureaucrats from Harrisburg (e.g. PA. Dept of Revenuers) or Amish people from Lancaster.  In most cases, you do not want to talk to either of these people. I suggest blocking the entire 717 area code from your phone list.  If they really want to talk to you, and they know how to write, they'll send you a letter.

Just tell them to take you off their calling list, it's what i did and i haven't recieve a call since... then again i'm not the happiest person when i'm getting these types of phone calls so...

I just called and a message said "this call may be recorded" then a woman came to the phone and i said can u please stop calling me>>she said we r a marketing comp and there are other people that can be calling u from the same number but ill put u on the do not calll list.  Im gonna give it a week and if they continue to ring my phone off the hook im calling someone about this

So far, received 10 calls in a week. No message relaid. No ID either! They sound desperate to me.

yes these people use a fake calling system. they called my phone 52*s+ in the last 3 days i pu call. call after being pissed off.asked them who they where educational funding place. i told them i dont care who u wk for take me off list. im still getting calls . will be lettering to attny general.

I wish these people would stop calling...They are linked into job search sites...They call all hours of the day...If I wanted to go back to school, I would call you....Get off the job engine sites pleeease.. Im sure you get some kind of kickback but,, I DO NOT WANT TO FURTHER MY EDUCATION!!!

They def got it from a resume site _ I too, just up loaded mine to one of these sites.

I started receiving these calls to.  After a bunch, I got p*ssed and called them back.
They claim that I submitted my information online requesting information about "Business Management" courses.
I can only guess that they take this info from resume sites, as i have recently posted my resume online, and I already have a Business Management degree.
I told them I am not interested, and to stop calling me.
They do record the call. (or so they say)
