Being harrased all week with a company calling my cell phone from this number whihc is a dummy phone number

Frequent calls.  No messages left

if they call me ima put a screamer up the phone and make him deaf

I have been receiving calls from this number, and many with the same first few digits. I finally answered it today, and a guy with a sounding accent said my name, and asked how I am doing, several times I asked who is this, and he continued to ask how I am doing. Finally I said I will not answer his question until he told me who it was, and then he started calling me a f*cking B*tch for about a minute until he finally disconnected. In another search on the web we found Kings, NY as the source of the calls. This is terribly obnoxious, and interfering with my job and personal home life at this point. The number has already called me again since the rude call this afternoon. Glad to know Im not the only one though.

I'm getting the same thing - getting really old - not answering - maybe they'll quit EVENTUALLY!

Getting calls from this number every few days or so asking for an "Able Jones". I have absolutely no idea who "Able Jones" is and I tell the callers that. The callers are different people, both male and female. I ask them who they are and why they are calling but they just hang up. These are obviously vile, possibly criminal people. Don't EVER give them any useful information about yourself. Would love to know who they are so I could start some formal legal complaints against them.

Have Caller Id saw this number wondered if it was from relatives in New York looked it up on the internet and this is what i found

I just answer, say "Hello," and when they ask for me I hang up.

and....he called me again saying "this is the first time" calling me

Similar experience to the others posted here.  This is part of some much larger scam network -- I can track the related calls because they all ask for "Nichole" (not my name).  When I asked who was calling and for what purpose I was told "None of your damn business."  I laughed and hung up.  Usually I'm the one using profanity to them.  Anyone who asks for Nichole at my number, I know it's part of this network and automatically go into FOAD mode.  This is the first caller of the pattern who was rude to me first.  I have yet to figure out what the business model is -- even as a scam.

They call several times a day.  When the call is answered no one is there.  When not answered they will leave no message.

Calls me on a daily basis, usually I ignore... today I answered. Someone with an undistinguisable accent said it was in regards to education programs, etc. I said I couldnt talk, that this was a cell phone and I'm at work right now (and hung up)... THEY JUST CALLED BACK! These people DO NOT give up. Since others here have mentioned something about education, I'm assuming someone is selling our name/number.

This number keeps calling about possible educational opportunities.  I did a few months ago request information on colleges, but... I have told these folks day after day to remove my name, i have selected a school and they continue to call.  I even got a call just after my mom passed away and they still wanted me to talk with them. Their English is usually pretty broken and difficult to understand the name of the company they are calling for.  I think it is Education America or something similiar.

this number has called several times on my cell...when I call it back it says international call. The ppl are very rude

We have been receiving a call numerous times from this number but they just hang up when we answere. Just about an hour ago I got a call from them at my home. When I answered they asked for Jennifer and (thinking it was a telemarketer) said that she was not available, could I take a message. The guy on the other end (with a very strong spanish accent) said tell her I love her. At that point I just hung up. After reading all that everyone else has wrote I called my phone company and they let me know how I can block that number from calling my house. Hopefully I wont be hearing from them anymore.
Also... if this is telemarketers calling about education then I will say this.. I began getting phone calls from telemarketers in that regards after I signed up for an account at Monster.com.  Today I deleted my acct.!!!!

I just received a phone call from this number. I have attempted to call back. I have caller id on my phone. Every time I have called back, it says not in service. I have read on the website doing a reverse search that these people are educational scams. How do I keep them from calling this number. My phone number is unlisted because of calls like this.

haha.  Ok so i finally answed the call from this number.  The guy explained to me what it was for.  I told him i was not interested and wanted to be taken off of the calling list.  He then told me to go F*ck myself.  Then told me he wanted to F*ck me. After that i just hung up.  I hope they stop calling. now.

samething as the rest no message left, can't call back and when we have answered line goes dead.

This Number keeps calling my phone, not leaving a message, when I try calling it back it says it's not in service. This is very annoying

This caller has called me 8 different times and never left a message.. I am at work and could not asnwer called it back and it said sorry couldn't connect your international call.

Guy said he wanted to talk to my wife (knew her name) about student loans and grant assistance for continuing education.
